I've lived in New York. The reason you won't read about too many ex-employees saying bad things about him is because if they do, he will viciously go after them. Here's a splash of reality for your fantasy world:

It was 1-1/2 seconds to Fields, that barely slowed Fields down. She made 3 stumbling steps in high heels and was back pursuing Trump, who had moved forward 5-6 feet.
It was less than that to Lewandowski. He ran interference, then moved on. No reason for him to remember it.

IF...IF, this was the event like she described...she would have fallen, twisted an ankle (she was wearing heels) people would have tumbled over her and a MEMORABLE scene would have been made.
NONE of that happened.

No reason to think something major happened.
So he didn’t remember it.
With the tape, we have the benefit of other people editing and pointing out.
First, Trumps team would have to get the recordings. Then they’d have to go through all of them to find what happened.
I’m sure it took MANY hours to find these couple of seconds.
Then after they did find them, they were probably incredulous, thinking “no way is this what she is talking about”.
Remember, AFTER the tapes were found and she was found to be exaggerating, she resigned.
Did you listen to her say to the WaPo reporter that he grabbed her and nearly pushed her to the ground? And you saw that in the tapes? Wow, great eyesight there, sport.
It is a misdemeanor, it is not even a low level felony, in New Jersey, this crap would be done in “traffic court” at the municipal level. Pay the $100 fine and court costs and move on.
No trial
no witnesses
no “real court”
no court reporter
no guy drawing sketches of the court room
nothing
