It is a misdemeanor, it is not even a low level felony, in New Jersey, this crap would be done in “traffic court” at the municipal level. Pay the $100 fine and court costs and move on.

The people in Florida don’t care how you did it in New Jersey. Florida courts don’t take guys charged with roughing up women lightly.
