I don’t think the ‘mainstream media’ is any longer the force that it (or Hillary) thinks that it is.

He nailed it tonight on the townhall. He was honest and direct. He said some things that weren't PC, but honest. It's about our country. Borders. Terrorism. Jobs. Infrastructure. National Debt.

Cruz and Kasich both spoke GOP platitudes. I didn't get the feeling the crowd was loving Cruz much.

Y’all stop stomping the guts out of little old ladies who like Cruz.

well I see you start the conversation with pure horseshit so it isn’t worth even engaging in

and the reciprocal is Cruz doesn’t stand a chance. He’s not going to get past the first round with Hillary saying conservative are hypocritical demagogue running a guy that was born in Canada ....when they were attacking Obama for eight years saying he’s born in Kenya and therefore not eligible

you can’t get around the fact that birther after eight years attacking Obama as foreign-born and ineligible... making running anybody that’s foreign-born right after... looks completely hypocritical ... and then you’re going to run as anti illegals aliens?

do you remember why Romney lost?.... the exit polls that the public just didn’t think he cared about them?? the General Public not going to think Cruz cares they just see hypocrite conservatives running to look out for his connected friends... you come across as the worst Republican conservative stereotype hypocrite

Cruz is just isn’t going to happen

We need a pragmatist, which is what Trump is. Businessmen have to be pragmatists in order for the company to survive.

Here is an interesting section also from this article:

“As for the neocons, their position is just as self-serving. The neoconservative movement began primarily with a group of leftist ex-Trotskyites, who comfortably made their home in the Democratic Party of Franklin Delano Roosevelt in the ’30s. Their foreign policy adamantly opposed the imperialistic adventures of Russia’s Joseph Stalin, while their domestic policies remained firmly progressive.

In the late ’60s they began moving to the Republican Party, when the anti-war messages of Gene McCarthy and George McGovern compelled them to align with the party that was more in line with their pro-intervention position. The transition was effectively complete by the end of the Carter administration, when the vast majority of neocons made the Republican Party their permanent home.

Neocons are practically single-handedly responsible for the mess in which we find ourselves today in the Middle East. This group of political gypsies has always placed limited emphasis on domestic policy. Their primary mission in recent decades has essentially been to define and direct America’s leading role in the “new order” that Bush 41 ushered in, back in ’91. Importantly, by that time the Soviet empire was on its way out. They then turned their sights on the Middle East.

The idea that a populist candidate would offer up a more pragmatic and limited interventionist foreign policy terrifies them, as well. Just like the big business boys, they will go to any lengths to ensure this does not take place.”

I find myself a little confused as to why former members of a group (Trotskyites) who were upset about Stalin’s “interventionist adventures” would subsequently join forces with those who themselves favored interventionist adventures. Perhaps the fact that Stalin probably arranged for Trotsky’s murder would explain that seeming illogical metamorphosis.

“THIS. is what I have been saying. Bush 41/Clinton/Bush 43/OBAMA have dragged this country so far to the left we can’t make it all the way back to true conservatism in one election. Trump is an Amerca-first nationalist who can move the needle back towards center-right enough that we can see a true conservative back in the presidency is 4 or 8 years. Right now we need this half step first. “

When Trump is done, it will take several generations to get rid of the Libs. America will be done. Conservatives relegated to dust.

Obama won because his team understood the “youth” media. Apparently Sanders people are more attuned to this as well.

Outside of religious nuts, his appeal is limited.

Really? Religious nuts? Way to trash half of the Republican base.

Cruz has the advantage of not being Trump or Clinton. Trump would be the focus of the general election, and not in a good way. In a "how can we possibly elect this idiot?" way.

Seen it. Cruz's statements were valid. Trump has been on both sides of every issue. The video itself is the lie.

Admit it, you just posted that YUUUGE picture of Trump's wedding because you like to look at Melania's boobs in that dress.

Seriously, a 1400-pixel post is just rude. You could make your point (again, and agan and again and again and again) with a 600-pixel width.

Since you're apparently a newbie at posting photos, here:

I support him because he’s the only one who can beat Hillary.

I think so too. Plus the dems and GOPe are obviously afraid that Trump is the only one that can beat Hillary, so what is that telegraphing? Trump is the only one that will make changes in Washington D.C. The only one who possible may save us from going over the cliff.

Okay, it's Trump that they fear. . . and then pick Sarah Palin as VP and they'll all explode!

Trump/Palin 2016!

Go for it Donald! You know you want too! Talk about big crowds. Talk about the whole nation just going wild!

(who has that circular table exploding heads animated gif?) That was made for Trump/Palin 2016!
