BREAKING: Political Operative Speaks Out on ‘Cuban Mistress Crisis’
Gateway Pundit ^ | 03/28/2016 | Jim Hoft

Posted on 03/28/2016 7:28:12 PM PDT by Mensius

--snip--

OPERATIVE: Yeah, two and the anchor. The anchor here is the absurdity. You know, the Enquirer story. Five women, shoving ‘em in closets and on desks or whatever right in the middle of meetings. That’s kind of, that’s, I just don’t see how you hide or how people miss that kind of stuff. That’s Bill Clinton stuff, you know. Sex crazed. And Glenn Beck does this whole I got raped by Ted Cruz bit this morning and everybody on my staff got raped, tasteless stuff.

GP: Yeah, we blogged about that . . .

OPERATIVE: yeah, I know, and that’s the anchor. And Beck doubled down on the anchor, said something about five women in closets and all that like I said, right? And then he sets the anchor really strong with a headline and it worked cause it was the headline you even went with. He said If this is true I’ll drop Ted Cruz like a hot potato.

GP: Yeah. Uh huh.

OPERATIVE: So there’s the hook, the headline, and then he sets expectations. He lowers the bar sort of so to speak. He says something like “Look, if it turns out Cruz had an affair six years ago and came clean and made up with his wife or whatever, then who am I to judge. People make mistakes.”

GP: Yeah. So how does that work then? What’s, how does that go with the anchor?

OPERATIVE: I think Glenn Beck just told the world the real story. There was an affair six years ago. One affair. It’s over now. And the Enquirer story is so over the top that a single affair six years ago will look like, yeah, whatever. It’s a perfect anchor, hook, and low ball. Perfect. It’s what Jeff Roe, his campaign manager, does.

I agree with both of you, except that I don’t care whether or not Fiorina jumps ship; after that little performance I hope she goes down with it, too.

That’s a diversion. The Churchill tattoo is too cute. That’s serious smoke.

May a false accuser call you an adulterer and let’s see how obsessed you get. I am sayin a little prayer that if this is false accusations all false accusers would reap a bit of God’s poetic justice. Actually I don’t have to pray for it-he will do that regardless.

Seriously do you even have a clue on Trump’s policies? Answer - no you don’t!

Trump: Tax the rich more

Trump: The government's gonna pay for healthcare costs for people without insurance

Trump: Expedited process for legalizing illegals

Trump: I agree with Kelo 100%

This is Trump. Not his campaign website. Not what some spokesman said. These are from Trump himself. They have been posted here on this board for months now. Have you considered that maybe you are the dumbest person ever on FR for not knowing it, and also for supporting a candidate who doesn't hold a single position to the right of where Mitt Romney stood four years ago. Heck, on Kelo, not only is he to the left of Romney, Trump is also to the left of Bernie Sanders.

Well, yeah, he was born in Canada so...
If my mom, a US citizen, was in England on vacation when I was born, would I be an English subject?

If your mom, a former US citizen, was in Canada around 1970, and had become a Canadian citizen (which required renouncing US citizenship), and registered to vote in Canada (which required Canadian citizenship), and you were born in December 1970 in Calgary, Alberta, you would be a Canadian citizen. Not a dual citizen; not a US citizen born abroad; a Canadian citizen, complete with a Canadian birth certificate, like the one Ted Cruz has stuffed away somewhere.

If you later came to the USA as a child, you could become a naturalized US citizen, and would therefore renounce your Canadian citizenship. If such naturalization did not take place, you would be an illegal alien.

In either case, you would never in this lifetime be constitutionally eligible to hold the office of President of the USA.

As an illegal alien, you would not be constitutionally eligible to hold office as a US Senator, as Ted Cruz is now doing.

However, with the dissolution of the USA, and the creation of a North American Union, as proposed by Heidi Cruz, that whole US Constitution thingee becomes a non-issue.

It apparently is not all that false. Quibble about the number, but the video of that presser last night, with Fiorina, not Heidi, was really bad for Cruzader.

He never denies affair(s) during his marriage, when the reporter hand feeds it to him. Ridiculous non-denial denial, is all you got, in legalese. Cruz once again, blaming the NE, blaming Trump, blaming his accounting group.... always “look over there”, when he flubs up.

Turning point, that presser video. Mark it.

I watched as much as I could stomach of Cruz on Hannity tonight.

He is obsessed with Trump!!!....can’t stop sniveling and whining about him.

cruz sickens me!

Yeah I got weirded out by Cruz tonight to. He sniveled about Trump. Then ran down his line that he's the only one that can beat Hilary. I heard nothing new from him tonight. He's playing a scorched earth game that makes everybody look bad. I'm sure he's thinking maybe I can take the convention with back room politics. This is an establishment game folks.

Having watched Katrina Pierson handle many anti Trump media, I find it hard to believe she’s a mole for Cruz. Not buying that one. More like Cruz dumped her and Trump picked her up and took her in.

Katrina's response to the NE article, "It wasn't me. I can't speak for the others," gave the impression that she saw the Cruz campaign as a train wreck a'coming, downhill, no brakes, bridge out, and a mile-deep gorge ahead. She bailed. Smart move.

That the establishment pukes jumped in with Cruz, knowing all this stuff, yet hoping to mitigate this unmitigated disaster of a campaign and candidate, shows just how corrupted the establishment pukes really are.

Sweetie, I can’t even see his teeth!

Ya know, in perspective, if he was an endearing man.......a good hearted man.....his looks wouldn’t matter.

But when I look at him, his face morphs & reflects that he’s deceptiive, and has a divided heart.
A hidden heart being exposed.

How so? Because Ted has projected an image of himself that may or may not be a true image?. If so that is his problem. As an American I believe in innocence until proven guilty. As a religious person I believe that we are forgiven for our sins. Of course Donald still needs to ask God for forgiveness and if he fails to do so, well that is his problem.

I also believe you have the right to judge someone as you see fit. If you believe me to be an Alinskyite, then so be it, regardless of the fact you're wrong.

It’s that power (and access to other people’s money) . People believe they are gods. I don’t know if there is anything solid but Ted and Heidi we’re apart a lot.

The Carpenter tweets she tried to delete are pretty damning. They look like love song lyrics she and Ted sent back and forth. Now, that’s something married men don’t do.

I do think the whole business was known before, about six months ago. I think the GOPe was hanging onto this if/when Trump was taken out. Then they could (as I predicted all along) switch him out for the designated loser.

Yeah, and he has benefit of having been a foreign citizen, so, naturally, he has a more diverse view than the USA! USA! USA! chant heard so often in some candidates’ political rallies! “2 for the price of 1” may be more than a slogan!

cruz needs to learn that if you’re a conservative running for any office you clean out your closet before the media does. A conservative running on the evangelical lane for president with a history of infidelity is like a dark-skinned man in a turban thinking he can smuggle that bomb in his overhead bag. If this stuff is true, his judgement and handling alone on all of this makes me question his ability to be commander in chief. He’s either a genius with zero common sense or a serial narcissist...or both.

Well, then....by that same criteria, it's also over for Trump ...

It's not about Trump; it's about Cruz; if he lied to us, it's over for him; his political career is over.
