Authorities are hunting for a convicted killer who was reported missing late Sunday night from a Nelsonville prison.
The Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction has confirmed that John Modie, 58, was absent from the Southeastern Correctional Complex during inmate counts at 11:00 p.m. A thorough search of the facility is being conducted.
The main campus of nearby Hocking College was closed until noon Monday as police search for the escapee, reports CBS Affiliate WBNS.
Modie is currently serving 15 years to life in prison for killing a woman in Cleveland, robbery and escape in 2003. His first parole hearing is set for October 2020.
Modie is described as a white male, 6'4", with grey hair and brown eyes.
Thanks. Pass it around, if you like.
I thought some states now allowed them to vote?

Almost all states do, after they have served their time and parole. Maine and Vermont allow incarcerated felons to vote absentee, from their jail cells.
'The question is,' said Alice, 'whether you can make words mean so many different things.'
'The question is,' said Humpty Dumpty, 'which is to be master - that's all.'
That’s actually Twisty...
