Senator Ted Cruz has been called Lyin’ Ted Cruz, by his campaign opponents due to the frequency of his telling outright lies. The frequency of falsehood is so excessive Politifact actually did a story about 90 random Cruz assertions which were checked and only 6% of his statements are actually TRUE, only 16% had SOME TRUTH.
Yesterday Senator Cruz appeared on Fox News Sunday (full video here) and was caught in several more lies to add to his abysmal record. ....

Thanks for the spot on post. Political assassins and just plain bigots and haters have been trying to slime Donald Trump from the day he entered the race, mostly with fanciful, uneducated and uninformed opinion. It’s nice to see well sourced and researched factual information.
By the way, my study of Donald Trump over these last eight or nine months also yielded a portrait of a dynamic, strong and intuitive leader and a gracious and generous man...not to mention he’s right on the issues of immigration, national security, and jobs.
Cruz did not denounce the ad. He confirmed the attack ad.
His first response was not remotely related to anything resembling counsel to all PACS and campaigns everywhere to leave wives and family members off limits.
Cruz did not express an ounce of regret that the snark which accompanied the nude photo of another candidate’s wife was unfair, irrelevant or off limits.
No. Ted’s first remark was that “Melania was lovely”! (After staring at the photo no doubt.)
Ted concluded the above sentence with, “ and Heidi is the love of my life”. GAG.
He succeeded in repeating essentially the attack ad, to the letter, reminding people of Melania’ nude beauty and elevating Heidi love. The creep is running for president, therefore she is to be preferred as First Lady, on the basis of his “love” for her.
Cruz never apologized either. These PACS deserve push back if they want to expect no damn response to their own favored candidate.
And the asshat posted it out of context, so that what was left out hid the full meaning, yet he claimed Trump lied.
Here’s the context:

Trump says a deal will be made with existing hospitals, no Obamacare law involved.

“Donald Trump: —the government’s gonna pay for it. But ***we’re going to save so much money on the other side***. But for the most it’s going to be a private plan and people are going to be able to go out and negotiate great plans with lots of different competition with lots of competitors with great companies and they can have their doctors, they can have plans, they can have everything.”
Trump is stating the government is going to pay for it AND THEY ARE DOING SO RIGHT NOW AND IN THE PAST UNDER MEDICARE AND GRANTS TO STATE MEDICAID but in a very inefficient way. This is not OBAMACARE. This is an observation to business inefficiency. Trump sees a way to get the business reacting to real demand and supply rather than government effected interference.
The statement that Trump was for Obamacare, then against it and now again is for it is a lie. Trump’s Healthcare Plan calls for abolishing Obamacare as Item 1.
