Just imagine the outrage if a CBS radio show host had made a similar comment about a predominantly African American community: "People talk differently there. They look differently there. It's sort of Urban. They look differently. They're all dark...You've never seen darker people in your life."

Leftists are truly the most racist class of people on the planet. We see this when they are unwittingly honest.

Exactly.

Just reverse it to see how objectionable it is.

Any simpleton can write. Only the wiser ones know when not to.

This is something that should not have been written, mush less published.

So they’ll be fired? Forced to attend “sensitivity classes”?

"New York City and like Central New York. It's a long way away,"

Yep, NYC "Values" don't play well upstate outside of the 'rat controlled urban utopias.

I’m curious how many Tourney teams fanbases at the games ARE NOT those Evil White People. I see a few sections sprinkled with black fans (often relatives of the players), Asians in the pep band and cheerleading squads.

And that’s pretty much it, folks. Maybe “media” types who think it should “look like America or New York” would not so much appreciate if whites just stayed home so that the attendance would be more to their idea of “Diversity”?

In other words, to nearly empty arenas. How safe are your media jobs then, you jerkoffs?

Why these two “tolerant” cats criticize their own network for having an all-black studio? Especially bigots like Barkley?

The racial hypocrisy in this country stinks to High Heaven. And I’ve heard Brian Jones make some questionable comments as a CFB analyst.

There have been conflicts between upstate NY people and NYC people for as long as I can remember.

Upstate NY people are kind, generous, honest, responsible and family oriented.

NYC people are rude, dishonest, pushy, politically correct, and often openly gay or LGBT supportive.

NYC people like to brag about themselves and pretend they are better than everyone else. Upstate NY people wish they would just shut up and go away.

NYC people control the government in NYS. They force upstate businesses out of business or force them to leave the state. Elliot Spitzer(love client No.9) who paid $5000 a pop to prostitutes is a NYC type. So are Mario Cuomo, Andrew Cuomo, Anthony Weiner and Bill De Blasio.

Upstate people include former Laker Pat Riley, former drag racer Shirley Muldowney, actor William Devane, Tim Russert and Megyn Kelly.

I guess U of Georgia isn’t Georgia’s team; it’s Athens’?

They couldn’t just leave it at the merely dumb reason to dislike them. (After all, NYC thinks more of Sr John’s as their team.) They just HAD to make it racial.

I visit Syracuse 3-4 times a year.
My impression is that the city peaked in the early 1950s.

Reminds more of an old New Jersey city, like Trenton.
Older buildings and homes that are in a mild state of disrepair...spaced too close together.

Some dangerous neighborhoods, most neighborhhods on the brink of becoming dangerous. Lots of small neighborhood bars. An odd mix of elderly whites, hispanic, muslim and blacks. Definitely not a “white” city.

Another measure of how stupid they are:
University of Syracuse is more racially diverse than the population of the state as a whole.

I got a question for all you upstate NY folks who talk differently and are mid western types. Those 250,000 high paying jobs that were to be brought to upstate NY, as promised by then candidate for Senate, Hillary in 2000, how many of you are still working at one of them?
