While it is not undeniable evidence that something more than a professional relationship took place between Amanda Carpenter and her former boss, Senator Ted Cruz, the prompt cleaning up of her social media account did not go unnoticed by some and is now leading to yet further speculation as to the potential validity regarding allegations of somewhat recent sexual relations between Mr. Cruz and women outside of his marriage.
This now-deleted tweet is perhaps the most interesting of the bunch:

Cruzbots would support Cruz even if he were an axe murderer, as long as he raised the bible first, before he picked up the axe.”
I find it quite humorous and a bit Ironic that a Trump supporter would say that...

I found that projection kinda funny myself....
I would like to add that this entire thread is absolute hogwash and debunked many times already. It makes Freerepublic look silly....I on the other hand have been posting for 18 years and now have to submit my post for review...amazing
Read her posts. I think she is infatuated with him.
Because the pic was likely taken on Super Tuesday (March 1), when the hours worked on TV are ridiculous and hotel rooms are either comped or a good idea for pundits that work long hours?
Ulsterman?
And that is totally the reason for the preemptive Melania ad strike ... so he could blame Trump and frame the NE story as a retaliation. Totally transparent ...
Good post/analysis. I'm hearing the same thing listening to his show via the internet. Thanks, oleus
wow.
that’s pretty good sleuthing, there.
(and a nice dress she has on there, at least momentarily)
If they alienate BOTH Cruz supporters AND Trump supporters, then they automatically lose to the democrats. The GOP-E might not really care about that, but they do love their positions of power, so they have to fight to keep the Senate and the House. Otherwise, they are nobodies, non-players.
I think at the very least this part is true. It could be that’s all there is to this.
It doesn’t explain the instant attack on Trump over this, when I have to believe Cruz knew it was the Rubio camp well before it even broke. Why pour gasoline on it like that when everyone with connections inside the beltway pointed out the Rubio connection, even people with no love for Trump.
Almost seems like damaging Trump with this was part of the script from the get-go.
Here's her page. I'm not really social-media savvy, but I don't see her account as being verified even now.
I don’t have any anger. I do have experience with how a five year acts.
Trumpbots would support Trump even if he were an axe murderer, as long as he squawked about "the wall" first, before he picked up the axe.
Works both ways.
Yeah - I heard of it, Cruz is doing it right now. Instead of categorically denying each of these charges and explaining why 500 grand went to Carly Fiorina, he is attacking Trump, and blaming this scandal on a “vast Trumpian conspiracy”.
Cruz has taken a page out of the Clinton playbook and he is running with it. Deny Deny Deny, making a blanket statement of “garbage” which does not deny anything, blame the opposition, then silence as the facts avalanche and finally go on 60 Minutes with his wife.
I actually thought Cruz, of all people, would not allow his baser instincts to destroy his chosen calling of helping America, but he has. The left is howling with glee as another sanctimonious Jimmy Swaggert eats the dust that he smugly threw in everyone’s face for years.
To remain silent about this is worse. It would have eventually destroyed his presidency, but now he can atone for this and come back; but not this year. There is redemption, but not lip service to redemption.
Also note that Amanda's photo appears to be taken through a mirror. The mirror would have to be immediately adjacent to the bed, so this appears to be a much smaller room that what's pictured in the stock photo.
Yesterday Ted said on FOX news that he had no idea who Liz Mair is.
I had to laugh. A short time later I saw Amands Carpenter Twitter page where she and Liz Mair were exchanging tweets.
yeah right lyin’ Ted LOL
What exactly have they done with that "power"?
Pass a lot of stuff that the establishment likes and line their pockets. They get to be in charge of the committees and the calendar and the budget. It’s a financial boon to each of the members. They’d prefer not to lose that even if Clinton became president.
Only people with something to hide try to erase their past.
Interesting. I don’t think Cruz will ever admit to any of it unless a woman is paid big dollars to put up proof. Beck has lost his mind. One affair is one too many and it is painful (more than people realize) for the wife and kids.
