Donald Trump Blames Ted Cruz for Spat Leading up to National Enquirer Report

Republican presidential frontrunner Donald Trump blamed rival Ted Cruz for starting a spat leading up to a report in the National Enquirer claiming "political operatives" are looking into rumors that the Texas senator had multiple marital infidelities.

Trump again denied he or his campaign had anything to do with the National Enquirer report. Cruz on Friday had blamed the report on Trump and his "henchmen" while forcefully denying the report.

"I had nothing to do with it. The campaign had absolutely nothing to do with it," Trump told ABC's Jonathan Karl on "This Week" Sunday. "I have over control over the National Enquirer."

Trump didn't call Carly ugly. He said that she would have trouble getting elected because of her face.

Are we really going to select a candidate driven by who can start the worse rumors about each other, call them more names, and come up with more witty juvenile insults?

I do want a candidate that is tough and capable of brawling. The world is not pretty and people will take advantage of the US if given the chance.

When his camp folded he had a lot of out of work people who had this info on Cruz and needing money...

Even the media commented that she looked horribly miserably and never smiled. She looked like she did not want to be there. She did not have a face that sells a message. She had a face that scared people way.

That is what Trump meant. He never called her ugly.

I will wait, with bated breath, for Cruz to categorically state yes or no to that question. In fact, I would frame the question in this manner: Did Cruz have any sexual relations, either coitus or oral or any other recognized sexual contact with anyone after he and his wife exchanged wedding vows.

An emphatic no, under the eyes of God, would be sufficient.

His comment was, "Look at that face. Would anyone vote for that?" Fiorina looks stuck up. That would alienate some voters.

Not just Rubio’s people. Don’t you think Democratic Party operatives also have this information at their disposal? It doesn’t appear that Cruz was all that discrete with his after Senate hour activities. Everybody and their mother in DC knows and has info on Ted Cruz. The question is who will spill the beans first. It appears that Cruz’s whole political career is on borrowed time now.
