The FBI submitted a classified declaration to a federal court judge late Friday explaining details about the bureau's "pending investigation" into the use of a private email server by Democratic presidential frontrunner Hillary Clinton. The declaration addresses why the FBI can't publicly release any records about its probe in response to a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit filed by VICE News.

I don’t understand.
The article doesn’t note what the judge was specific about.
Here is the question I posed to Leopold this morning on twitter..... If watchdogs (who are these watch dogs) notified the FBI of potential miss handling of security data, then could those same “watch dogs” Pull her top secret clearance? If so can a FOIA be filed to see if it is still current or been suspended. Potential voters would want to know if the potential presidential candidate has had her Secrecy status suspended...
That ticket sounds likely to me too, Jim.
Might explain why Donald lobbed a round at Princess Lie to Your Face the other day. More will follow.
He will start to ignore Cruz more and more.
In order for there to be treason there has to be an ENEMY which we do not have OFFICIALLY. No declaration of war no treason.
ANY investigative/law enforcement agency (IF COMPETENT) will use "no comment" as to whether an investigation is POTENTIAL/ONGOING/ETC. Until such time as an action has been filed in court...., silence. Been there done that even when confronted by reporters with TV footage. An untold number of cases have ultimately been been lost due to "PREJUDICIAL COMMENTS"!

Oh that’s right, yes I must have heard that a million times in movies and read it in books “High treason against the King” but never in the US. Ha that’s funny, I don’t know why I thought it existed in the US as well. Well either way, if Hillary was actually involved in selling or just giving secrets to foreigners she is mince meat, or SHOULD be. I’m reminded of that guy former FBI agent Robert Hanssen who sold secrets to the Russians and is now doing life in Colorado Supermax. 23 hours a day in a cell the size of a broom closet, one hour out a day to walk 10 paces in a hole. If they don’t indict her and it’s leaked out that she WAS involved in something like that, what do you think will happen? I guess the people really couldn’t do anything, but man oh man, it would just be such an extreme betrayal. “Only little people go to jail, Hillary gets to play President”
Voters who are blind enough to support her won’t give 2 damns what they’re shown. Sad ain’t it.
I hold that the calendar is a friend to the Nation.
The longer this is drug out, the more nervous the folks at the Democrat Party will become, and the less opportunity they will have to replace Hillary Diane Rodham Clinton with another candidate for the fall General election.
I hope you are correct. Although if the FBI looks like it is trying to throw the election after she is nominated there is going to be an awful lot of blame that reverberates back to a partisan witch hunt by the Republicans.
I suspect they’ve got Hillary dead to rights...
Why don’t they arrest her, then? They have arrest and detain powers.
You do have to give the suspect the chance to explain. They can decide whether to invoke the fifth - and whether it will be scotch, vodka, or bourbon.
Let’s just say EVERY duck needs to be in a row...
It's "on-going", very much like the expansion of the universe, just a lot slower.
