The efforts of President Barack Obama and other world leaders to prevent global warming will almost certainly fail, according to a new study published recently by Texas A&M scientists.
“It would require rates of change in our energy infrastructure and energy mix that have never happened in world history and that are extremely unlikely to be achieved,” Glenn Jones, a professor of marine sciences at Texas A&M who co-authored the study, said in a Wednesday statement on Science Daily. “For a world that wants to fight climate change, the numbers just don’t add up to do it.”
The study modeled the projected population growth and per capita energy consumption, as well as the size of known reserves of oil, coal and natural gas, and greenhouse gas emissions. It determined that it would be essentially impossible to meet the global warming goal of 2 degree Celsius by 2100 set by the December Paris agreement.

I think the fundamentally change thing was for ‘Murica. The energy skyrocket was ‘necessary’. Oh, and “I dare you to try to build a coal fired power plant. We’ll bankrupt you with rules, regs and requirements that you’ll never be able to meet.” That kind of necessary.

Study Question: How do less-than-specks in congress plan to control the sun?
The “study” AGREES with Man-made Global Warming.
They simply conclude that no Carbon reduction policy can possibly work to reduce the FRAUDULENT PROJECTIONS to their satisfaction. (+2 degrees C by 2100)
Oh.... and that the policies have an impossible price tag.
We need to focus on the Fraudulent notion that man is capable of changing the climate.
The deniers are smarter and have more sense than the President of the United States on this and Oh, maybe a thousand other issues of major importance in life.
The attempt to cool the planet is political, not scientific. Dont need a scientific review of a political agenda.
A scientific attempt to cool the planet could look like this:
Shoot rocket(s) over the polar regions that scatter confetti in orbit. The confetti is designed to reflect some of the solar energy back away from the earth.
The polar regions decline in average temperature by 3 degrees (or whatever, depending on the amount of confetti). Polar glaciers and icebergs grow. Sea levels dont rise.
Colder Polar regions impact temerate zone weather patterns. We get more cold are coming down on us.
#2 increase ocean salt water evaporation into the atmosphere two ways. a) Pump ocean water into desert basins in the US Southwest and adjacent Mexico, in N Africa, in Saudi Arabia, etc. Half the water from these man-made lakes is purified as it seeps down into the aquifer. Half the water evaporates and causes more humid air and rain down wind. b) Use the power of the waves and wind in the ocean to spray ocean water in a fine mist 100 ft in the air above the ocean. The fine mist will evaporate and the total evaporation from the ocean will increase, creating more humidity and rain downwind.
#3 With more rain down wind from evaporating ocean water, increase vegetation. Plant forests in the deserts. Plant certain crops in the desert.
The above are a big government Teddy Roosevelt type of solutions. But they dont turn the entire society socialst. Thus they dont fit the poltical agenda, even though they make more sense scientfically.
PS. Shortage of fresh water is a much greater crisis than global warming, even if you accept all the chicken-little stories of the true believers.

Climatology holds great store by the workings of primitivism.
It’s not about climate change and it never was. It’s about control. Climate change is just one vehicle in the battle to control our lives.
Whiel this might be detrimental to dear leader’s plans, these ‘scientists’ are STILL not being honest- the math does not add up Period!
The atmosphere has 0.04% CO2 in it
Man is responsible for 3.4% of that 0.04%— Which means that:
Man’s CO2 comprises just 0.00136% of the atmosphere
Can these ‘scientists’ please explain to the world how just 0.00136% of our atmosphere can possibly capture and create enough heat to warm the globe?
Try putting a 1 inch by one inch piece of cloth on you at night and see if that keeps you warm on a cold night
There is no thick layer of CO2 blanketing the globe- there simply is not enough CO2 to do anything in regards to changing the climate- period!
The math does not support the lie that man is causing global climate change-
Hell- the math doesn’t even support the lie that ALL sources and amounts of CO2 are causing climate change globally—

NONE of that would help- not one iota- Is he seriously suggesting that getting our production of CO2 down from a total mass of 0.00136% to 0.00135% will stop global warming? Seriously? Let’s suppose we got it down to 0.000136% the Fact remains that there was never enough CO2 in the atmosphere- let alone CO2 produced by man i n the atmosphere, do do anything regarding our global climate-
Man is not causing climate change-
CO2 is not causing climate change- it can’t- there isn’t anywhere near enough of it to do so
By the way- our planet is at roughly 400 ppm CO2 which these ‘scientists’ tell us is a ‘tipping point’ and will ‘be catastrophic’- Yet in the past this planet had nearly 1200 ppm
and another inconvenient truth for them- CO2 rises ALWAYS follow temperature rises by 800-1000 years- that alone is proof that CO2 is not causing the temperature rises and falls- funny how facts have a way of inconveniently refuting claims- Ice core samples show that CO2 only rises 100’s of years AFTER temperates rise- so unless CO2 has supernatural powers, and is able to ‘preemptively warm the planet BEFORE it rises into the atmosphere- 100’s of years before it does ifnact- then CO2 is not causing climate change- period!
Or simply:
1. Define the “correct” temperature range for the planet.
2. Define the “correct” humidity range for the planet.
3. Define the “correct” mean sea level for the planet.
4. Define the “correct” amount of precipitation for the planet.
5. Define the “correct” makeup of the atmosphere.
6. Define the “correct” amount of sea ice at the N/S poles.
7. Define/explain past glaciation and subsequent warming without any input from humans.
