Yah I'm starting to believe this. And I'm thinking that they snowballed Cruz at the same time. The Cruz campaign took on a TON of Washington establishment staff recently. I would guess that they're an incestuous little group where everyone knows everyone's business but they all keep it hush hush because they're all guilty. So they're getting desperate to stop Donald from getting 1237....and hatch this scheme of trying to make it look like Trump is spreading false rumors. So the GOPe gives this story to the Enquirer...they print it and weirdly Cruz goes RIGHT after Trump. Strange that unless it's part of the plan to pin it on Donald.

But now (provided all this speculation is true) it's backfiring. They figured that nobody would take an Enquirer story seriously...but hmmmm...all kinds of hmmmm moments coming up with the story and it really seems to be getting some legs.

I can just imagine Cruz this evening, huddled up in the fetal position in the corner of his hotel room, drooling on himself and babbling deliriously about how the blinking light on the beside phone won’t stop because of Trump. And how Trump is outside moving that tree branch around that won’t stop scratching on the window. And Trump must have put in a call to his hotel to make sure he only got 3 pillows on his king bed. And Trump.....

An excuse I heard a lot before I retired, temporarily, (hiatus, whatever):
“Your Honor. He’s a good boy/man. He just fell in with bad company.”

So, an effort to take out two birds with one stone. Nice try, GOPe, but Trump will still curb-stomp whatever loser you put forth.

Just this evening Mark Levin was saying you don’t have to be a detective to figure out who is behind this based upon who it benefits, then he concluded it benefits Trump, so Trump is behind it.

Well, Mark, you don’t need to be a detective, and you also don’t need to be Ted Cruz sycophant either.

This mess doesn’t benefit Trump or Cruz, it benefits the GOP, OBVIOUSLY, and you are smart enough to know that, Mark, but apparently not honest enough to say it.

The GOP is trying to drop both these birds with the same stone.

I can’t help but think back to Spring 2015 , and the first couple of interviews I heard from Cruz. At the time, Trump had not taken the famous escalator ride, and I liked Walker, Santorum, or Jindal. There was something about Cruz that was a little off. I couldn’t put my finger on it but it was there. I brushed it aside until the beginning of the year. Then it came back, impression enhanced by controversy. Walker and Jindal gone, and Santorum on life support. I changed to Trump in August, and was looking at things differently. In the end, the only reason to vote Cruz in November is what he’d be up against. And if that is the choice, God help us.

Something off with Cruz...I really think...HE thought is was some how protected that this was his destiny

the whole Canadian birth thing....back when supported him I thought.."for sure he got this cover...he knows the dem will go after him so he would be super prepared for this.... but when it came up he just blew in off like it didn't exist....

same here... he had to know this could bite him but didn't prepare in fact he only provoked it by playing the holier than thou super Christian...the guy has a political death wish
