Beck is expanding his attacks on Trump supporters beyond evangelicals to now include all Christians and Jews who back the GOP frontrunner, as the Hill reported
Glenn Beck on Thursday suggested that GOP presidential front-runner Donald Trump is incompatible with Christians who take their faith seriously.
"No Christian, no real Christian I don't mean a judgmental Christian, I mean somebody who is living their faith no real Christian says, 'I want that guy, that guy is for me,'" he said during a broadcast of his radio show. "Nobody. Nobody." .
.
.
"I'll take on the Jews, and I'll take on the Lutherans, and I'll take on the Catholics, and I'll take on the Mormons," he said. "I'll take them all on. You're damn right. Where are you? You're not living your principles."

Levin and Beck are making lots of money by campaigning for one candidate on the radio and TV.
Kind of makes me wonder who the idiots are?
Will avoid Levin until the primaries are over.
I’m a New Yorker and long-time listener, but I’ve had enough of his anti-Trump antics. Too many times I’ve dialed-up his program only to hear his baseless ridicule of those appointing Trump.
For the time-being, the bitch can pound sand without my patronage.
“I dont even get joy from laughing at Beck. Its like laughing at someone with disabilities they cant do anything about.”
Yes but Beck has brought it upon himself, he is such a hypocrite. On his radio show for years his Moron Trivia segment, where they call convenience store employees and tries to humiliate them with stupid questions, just for laughs. And he claims to be a great Christian.
Doesn’t sound like something I’d find entertaining.
Someone has to do that type of work, and humiliating a normal person on the street has never been my idea of fun times.
Thanks for the perspective and reference.
I hope to one day have the ability to read and understand Aramaic.
1) if the woman was actually caught in adultery, they were to bring her to the high priest, not a prophet
2) the Law of God says that they are to bring both, the man & woman caught in adultery, but they only brought the woman
3) they were to bring two eye witnesses and they brought none
So since they did not bring the man, and they brought no witnesses, and most important, they did not bring their accusations to the high priest, they brought false testimony and that is what I believe Christ wrote in the sand...
Deu 19:18 And the judges shall diligently search and see if the witness is a false witness, who has falsely accused his brother, 19 then you shall do to him as he thought to have done to his brother. Thus you shall purge the evil from your midst. 20 And let the rest hear and fear, and never again do this evil matter in your midst.
//That guy is tormented.//
Perhaps literally. Part of the Mormon endowment (temple) ceremony is wearing the apron that represents the “priesthood of Lucifer”. If you believe in demons - it is entirely possible Beck is possessed.
Another option would be mental torment - based on cognitive dissonance - common with Mormons once they start to see the lies their church teaches them, especially if they have a stake (like family or employment) in remaining a member. As a cult deprogrammer who specializes in Mormonism, and a former Mormon myself, losing your faith in Mormonism can literally make you crazy.
I can argue context but that verse is a good description of Cruz.
That’s a great perspective. Thanks for the quote.
Says who? you? take the beam out of your own eye.
I think that Aramaic/Hebrew will be the language in the Millenial Kingdom. So all you have to be is a believer. :-)
//I in turn cannot look into Cruz’s heart.//
But I can judge him on his ascribed theology and there is a lot wanting there.
Seriously cultish.
It would be a welcome reprieve to acquire enlightenment through belief alone — though, I do pray for it among other virtues.
God Bless, FRiend.
Thanks for your insight. I haven’t had contact with many Mormons. Sad really... good luck with your efforts.
Notice however that the content of the writing is not disclosed. Therefore it remains a matter of our opinion what it might have been. That wasn’t important; what was important was that the “loophole” in the Mosaic law was used to the goal of mercy.
It’s a matter of actually meeting a Savior. You would then know that it’s like meeting a friend or a neighbor. We don’t usually agonize philosophically about whether they are real.
Awaiting the meeting of any Savior would likely be agonizing. But I suppose you meant “the Savior.”
Well it’s more than awaiting. It’s having met. That’s what happened to me. When the Presence came there wasn’t any more doubt in my mind as to Whom it was.
WOW, loophole in God’s Law? There are no loopholes, there has always been mercy & justice. There was no proof the woman was an adulteress, however, as we all are, she too was a sinner. The context is about bringing false testimony, you know that commandment that says ‘though shalt not bear false witness’?
Loophole, now that is down right hysterical!
You are so focused on judging and mocking that you missed the scare quotes.
Loophole, from the Pharisee point of view.
Or are you a Pharisee?
