May I, as a Ted Cruz supporter, just step in here for a minute and explain why Donald Trump, as Republican nominee for president, will win a landslide election victory over Hillary and actually be a welcome alternative to the kind of leadership America has experienced for the last 27 years?
I don’t care what the national polls say now about a matchup between Trump and Clinton. I am old enough to remember vividly what the polls between Ronald Reagan and Jimmy Carter looked like in 1980 at this point in the presidential campaign. They suggested Reagan had no chance to win. He trailed Carter in the polls by double digits. He went on to carry 44 states that year, including New York and California – 49 states four years later.
That is very close to what I expect Trump to do to Hillary if he becomes the nominee.
Why do I think that?

With Cruz? Innuendo.
You trump fans are so desperate and I think it’s absolutely hilarious.
On the one hand you repeat over and over again about how trump is going to win and how Cruz has already lost and on the other you jump at literally ANY source that criticizes Cruz - even the National Enquierer as being the gospel truth.
Your desperation sweat is filling the room with the scent of over ripe red onions.
Chill out, if your candidate is going to fix Washington - this is his first of many tests. If he fails this one he would have failed in DC too.
If this sex story is true, it destroys everyone supporting Cruz. Their main argument is that he is “principle.” Maybe that is why Trump coined the word “lyin’” Ted. He may have known for a long time now about this and was laying the ground work for this story.

Only because the media presented him that way. If they covered how UGLY he is, he wouldn't be seen as likeable.
We haven’t seen the whole story yet. Apparently there is more to come out. So for now, yes, innuendo and lack of denial, lack of lawyers demanding retractions,,etc.

I haven’t met any Cruz supporter (formerly that included me) that believes Trump will be Hillary and certainly not by a Landslide....I almost stopped reading after the first sentence! But I kept reading to amuse myself!
You should also remember Reagan was an adulterer, Hollywood actor, divorcee and sworn Democrat prior to his epiphany.
NO ONE, (even women), want a frumpy looking, post-menopausal, lesbian Hillary Clinton as President of the USA. It would seal our doom as a country. Deep down in the recesses of their minds everyone knows this. Therefore Trump will win easily.
Assume it is false for now, but if it keeps lingering and starts to go mainstream then it could be a very big problem.
Trump is behind in virtually every poll — the only Republican candidate who is. I see no evidence that he would beat Hillary, let alone in a landslide, and he’s likely to take the Republican Congress down with him.

But don’t underestimate the Dem cheating machinery!

Trump is no alternative to the kind of leadership we’ve had for the past 25+ years. He is that kind of leader. He is from the same crowd and of the same mindset.
This must’ve been written before the National Enquirer story that Must Not Be Spoken of.
Or we could be pleasantly surprised.
This election has been nasty. Really nasty. The kind of nasty that leaves a bad enough taste in peoples mouths that they simply won’t vote.
Not me though - warts and all I am voting against Hillary, but I wish this thing was over already. Wives should be off-limits and BOTH of them are showing a tremendous lack of class and common dignity. I don’t care who started it, it is time for one of them to be a man because I have lost respect for both.
I hope this is not true about Cruz, but I suppose we will find out. Curious that the rest of the media is not all over this - it’s the kind of tabloid journalism they love.
He denies the allegations forcefully... he has no option... then they smack him with evidence.
I'm sure the political world is feverishly trying to find out who knows what before Ted has to address it.
MSM has been silent on this, but that can't last. The online world is going crazy. Especially twitter. Soon, a MSM outlet is going to mention it, and they'll all be on it.
The main players have "gone dark." Nothing from any of them, and they are normally tweet-beasts.

Right when I think I can vote for Trump to piss off the liberal protesters. He goes and attacks a person’s wife and I realize no way can he have his finger on the nukes. He’s just not balanced enough to handle this. If Putin said something that pissed off Donald...we’d be launching nukes.

Most loathed nominee in history. Just hit 23% support among women. Losing by 9 points to Hildabeast and more to Bernie. Loathed by EVERY minority group and they DO vote.
