The coming Trump landslide
Worldnet Daily ^ | 3/24/2016 | Joseph Farah

Posted on 03/25/2016 7:35:13 AM PDT by GilGil

May I, as a Ted Cruz supporter, just step in here for a minute and explain why Donald Trump, as Republican nominee for president, will win a landslide election victory over Hillary and actually be a welcome alternative to the kind of leadership America has experienced for the last 27 years?

I don’t care what the national polls say now about a matchup between Trump and Clinton. I am old enough to remember vividly what the polls between Ronald Reagan and Jimmy Carter looked like in 1980 at this point in the presidential campaign. They suggested Reagan had no chance to win. He trailed Carter in the polls by double digits. He went on to carry 44 states that year, including New York and California – 49 states four years later.

That is very close to what I expect Trump to do to Hillary if he becomes the nominee.

Why do I think that?

There will be enough cross-over Dems voting for Trump that I don’t think it will be close.

Yes, they always tell us that Trump has a problem with women. What they never say, is that Hillary has a problem with men.

I think there is a "macho" factor going on here with Trump, and that will appeal to young men. Powerful businessman, lots of money, good looking babe on his arm. I think black and hispanic young men will gravitate to that.

To me it’s not about the affairs, or possible affairs.
It’s about the hypocrisy of Cruz and all in his camp acting like he is Mr Clean.

He is no more clean than anyone else.

That is what makes it credible. This is like a nuclear blast with major fallout everyone wants to ignore.

“The only thing I have any concern about is the GOPe stopping Trump. Once he gets the nomination I have zero doubts that he will annihilate Hillary Clinton or any other Democrat candidate.”

Yes, that because he overwhelmingly will win the female vote. Women love men who can’t resist insulting other women based on their looks. /src

Agreed. It is not about the hanky-panky. It is about the hypocrisy. The “principled” conservative would be a total lie. As Ross Perot kept saying,” If your wife can’t trust you, how can I?”

I wonder if we will get a Cruz.... “I have sinned!” Like the Jimmy Swaggart Speech.

The National Enquirer

The National Enquirer is to be trusted because they been sued so badly in the past?

LOL!

Let’s use that logic on who to vote for....Hillary Clinton is to be believed because she’s been caught lying so much in the past and she just HAS to be careful now....LOL!!!

I think Hillary is hugely vunerable on many levels - inclusive of Bill’s past in his abuse and sexual escapades with women and his use under the power of authority to sexually assault women as Hillary enahled his abuses and in her hunger for power and to be a card carrying member of the establishment elite she was the one who coordinated the attacks on these women as “bimbos” and “whores” et all and this included threats against them and even killing their pets to try and shut them up.

It was the Enquirer that received recognition for their journalistic research and news scoops as they were the one’s who broke with the 1990s details of the Bill Clinton-Monica Lewinsky affair, they were first made public by the Enquirer and thanks to them the entire Bill Clinton abuse of women under the mantel of power came to light and then more women who were assaulted or taken advantage of by this pervert who had issues with his own power hungry wife came forward. Hillary so obsessed with her own need to be a card carrying member of the establishment elite then covered for Bill and she was the one who led the campaign attacking the women abused and used and sexually assaulted by Bill Clinton, she was Bill’s enabler by doing so simply in her lust for power.

I see a lot in common between the Cruz’s and the Clinton’s. I think this latest Enquirer story has legitimacy here, and I think there is no coincidence here how the Ted-Heidi story is paralleling the Bill-Hillary story, Heidi is just like Hillary as well. I have no doubt there is a lot more remarkable facts to come, and am not surprised it is the Natiunal Enquirer that leds the way to open this mess up just like they led the way in the past.

Ted Cruz is a sleeze ball and his wife is a power hungry Hillary personality. It all makes sense. The Republicans will be massacred in the election if the establishment and Heidi, who I think has her own power hungry political and globalist agenda, succeed in a corrupt brokered convention disenfranchising the voting Republican base. The only difference between the Clinton and the Cruz story is the “impeachment” of Cruz will occur during the general election if they pull off their crony attempts to grab power - their decades old dreams of such membership in the elite establishment will crumble in the general election as the American people will have justifiable perceptions that will try and then convict them in the court of public opinion.

For those too young to remember, Gary Hart was questioned by the press about allegations of an affair. At which point, stupid and arrogant Gary said, “there’s nothing to it, feel free to follow me around.” They did, and lo and behold, monkey business was going on. Hart’s presidential run sank quickly.

Fool called it down on himself.

“As savvy of a lawyer as Cruz is you’d think he would be all over this cleaning up.”

And you know he knew this was coming. Seems everyone else did.

But he also could have gone out immediately, IMMEDIATELY, and denounced his PACs attack on Melania, but he didn’t. He was more interested in getting the Mormon vote. What a disappointment he’s turned out to be!

Trump is going to clean up with blue-collar former Democrat votes in Rust Belt states where the GOP has not been competitive since Reagan.

Trump has major flaws, major ones, but they are out in the open.

Trump's biggest flaw is that he prefers his steaks to be cooked to a rock hard crisp. My wife used to be the same way until I taught her to enjoy the burst of flavor of steaks mildly cooked to a juicy medium rare.

I agree with your assessment. If Trump is the nominee, he will win in a massive landslide.

I believe Ted Cruz will also win against Hillary, but it won't by by such a large margin.

That being said, I'd rather have Ted Cruz, but I will support Trump if he wins the nomination.
