Yep, the GOPe are desperate that Donald Trump may well upset their ongoing control and are willing to back Cruz , whom they hated, to keep their uniparty.

Not sure they really hated Cruz ...it’s my contention that Cruz was always the establishment’s “anti-establishment” candidate ... a very palatable last resort if you will ...

I’m tired of PC cucks and GOPe globalists. Ted Cruz is annoying because he’s quite obviously a phony. Just watching his nervous ticks and robotic mannerisms as he recites his answers in interviews makes me cringe. Watching him blame Trump for leftist riots, play the usual “I didn’t say that, it was my Super PAC” game, and all his other weasel garbage is just SAD!, because it’s causing otherwise well-meaning people who are sick of leftists to grow vaginas and act just like leftists themselves.

Hopefully the people who support Cruz will come around some day and leave behind the crybaby “me too” GOPe bought-and-paid fraud that is Ted Cruz. But if they don’t, whatever.

DT will still get the votes he needs, and we’ll Make America Great Again for everyone. Even the people that got fooled by Ted.

If you read the article it says the GOPe ard rallying around Cruz
to stop Trump.

It never says they are rallying around Cruz to give him the nomination.

Surely Cruz knows he is being used.

Ted isn’t running for Ted. That ship has already sailed.

Ted is still running so that Mitt or Jeb can be the nominee. Ted is in it for Goldman Sachs: they own the establishment, which means they own Ted and his wife.

Cruz — the GOPe’s choice for Republican presidential nominee — to ensure a previously agreed win for Hillary.

Tech billionaires (major Dem donors) plot with GOP leaders at exclusive island resort to stop Trump

http://nypost.com/2016/03/08/tech-billionaires-plot-with-gop-leaders-to-stop-trump-at-exclusive-island-resort/

Billionaires, top tech CEOs and leading figures of the GOP establishment gathered on an island off the coast of Georgia this weekend for a conference where the main topic was how to stop Donald Trump, according to a new report.

Also on hand were Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.), Republican elder statesman Karl Rove, House Speaker Paul Ryan, GOP Sens. Tom Cotton (Ark.), Cory Gardner (Colo.), Tim Scott (S.C.), Rob Portman (Ohio) and Ben Sasse (Neb.), who recently made news by saying he could never support Trump.

There should be a rule that states that any Republican candidate who ran for President of the US against Obama and still lost is now barred for nomination.

This election is really about The Cheap Labor Express vs the citizens

They had planned on the usual gambit of a Designated Loser like ¡Yeb! losing graciously to block us from electing anyone who would stop them from flooding the country with fraudulently documented foreigners.

Trump stepped up on the side of the citizens and it has them scared spitless. The citizens finally have a champion.

Now the only thing they have left is to try to steal the nomination at the convention.

¡Teb! is being used to stop Trump, which is really The Cheap Labor Express stopping the citizens from keeping our country.

¡Teb! has gone to the dark side.

“Let’s you and him fight!” is what the GOPe is doing- the oldest trick in the book.

Someone take a look at what the media is doing to Ted Cruz today. Even Fox is portraying the poor Muslims he wants to discriminate against.

There is zero reason to believe Cruz will save the GOP from something Trump causes. This is the most ridiculous behavior by a party I have ever seen.

The world is a shambles does anyone notice the republicans are saying nothing about it?

We are watching a Titanic sinking and the passengers and crew are all selfish narcissists.

“Bush is just the latest establishment figure to throw support to Cruz”

Some of the Cruz people are denying the that the GOPe are coalescing around Cruz. I have to ask who the face of the GOPe is. Lindsey Graham? Jeb Bush? The list can go on and on.

Cruz cannot get the votes to secure the nomination.

Of course they will back him to get to a contested convention.

Let them. I will never be a party of the politburo of the USA.

Missouri update -
There are 1700 votes (0.18%) separating these two and the final winner gets 12 more Delegates. The GOP wants to deny Trump the nomination and the SOS of MO wants to run for national office. There is a formula brewing that says they find enough votes lying around that Cruz wins this by a few hundred votes. Worked for Bush in FL in 2000. I took a little shot at .04 for a potential big payout.

I wouldn’t mind Cruz if he took GOP-e money and then stabbed them in the back, but he’s decided to go full cuck and abandon conservative principles in favor of the GOP-e’s demands.

This election has proven that GOP-e money and endorsements are irrelevant, anyways.

Cruz can’t get out of is own way.
His whole ‘carpet bombing’ spiel was a disaster and even walked back by Linda Graham.

He has no idea what he is doing.

Here is a thought. A person has cancer. The doctors comes in and says, “We have a drug that may cure you.”

Do you try the drug or not? Don’t you owe it to your family to try the drug?

Believe it or not, Cruz has supporters (38% to Trump’s 41% See http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2016/03/23/fox-news-poll-cruz-gains-on-trump-in-gop-race-clinton-up-by-double.html ). They want him to win the election. Would you try the drug?
