Tuesday night is supposed to be Utah Republicans' moment in the national spotlight -- and not just because the state could hand Donald Trump a rare crushing defeat.
The Utah Republican Party is hosting what is could be the nation's largest online election ever.* In addition to hosting a statewide caucus, the party set up an online voting system for any registered voter outside or inside the state.
"I think it's going to be great," Utah GOP Chairman James Evans said at the time of the switch.

While Utah Republicans headed to their caucus in person on Tuesday evening, anyone who had registered online by March 17 can log on to utah.gop to vote between 7 a.m. and 11 p.m. local time and cast their vote. But the Deseret News reports some voters got error messages when they tried to navigate beyond the first page.
"I must have tried eight or nine times without success," Greg Ericksen told the newspaper.

And Anonymous chose whom?
What a joke. This stupid State, well what did we expect. Mormons.
I’d like to see how many registered republicans there are and how many voted, precinct by precinct.
I am against on line voting, as it is easy for hackers and to cheat and I am against on the day registration too.
It should be how it used to be and this online voting is utterly insane.
The death knell of a democratic society.
So you don’t have to be in the state to vote on line.
Nah could never be any fraud or hacking or manipulation in this. SARC.
Imagine the fraud which can be done by this and yet we have been calling for ID’;s to be shown before voting and now they do on line voting.
What a frigging joke.
Will they do it for the general too?
Online voting=a hacker or crooked politician’s dream.
Doesn’t explain Cruz winning but it probably has a lot to do with him winning 69% of the vote. He doesn’t win primaries because he doesn’t have a lot of support. Also, about half of the support he’s currently getting is pure GOPe trying to get this to a convention. Cruz is a 20%-25% guy
Ditto. If nothing else, Trump has exposed the presidential nomination contest for the complete scam that it is - the illusion of choosing. I dunno if that, or the fact that we fall for it, is worse.
IOW............Too late.
Not to mention a Soros associate was involve in this....
Not to mention a Soros associate was involve in this....
That’s all you need to know. Soros and fraud put Obama in the White House....twice.

This needs to go to Drudge and the Trump campaign.
What this really shows is the character and true nature of this race. The Cruz side is desperate and willing to do absolutely anything to win. It does not reflect well on the Cruz campaign and it exposes Mormon leadership in a very bad light. Cruz most likely would have in Utah without cheating, but there were obviously concerns that he wouldn’t meet the 50% threshold.
The link to the original report that started the thread is currently up on Drudge.
Sorry for the typo. I think that this episode was so blatant that it will likely cost the Cruz campaign far more delegates than they gained. They probably picked up an extra 20 delegates, but depending on how people perceive what has happened, it could cost them 100s especially in places in the Northeastern contest on April 26. This story now has a month to fester and will further the Lyin’ Ted cheater narrative.
It’s certainly not going so well for the Trumpsters.
Oh, boo-hoo! You lost fair and square, and you know it.
