What are they in their 90s??
At least the Beatles had the smarts to quit when their music was still great.
Mr Obama’s visit postponed the show this week. Unexpectedly no less.
And in London, some tickets were $1000 for their last tour. Way to treat your home country fans.
They all get paid $20 a month a Cuba, apart from a few necessary elite professionals. For instance top-performing doctors with two specialties may now earn as much as $804 per year.
So yeah, the concert would have to be free.
Pretty smart move to make the concert a free one. Cuba being communist, no one has any money to pay for tickets.
The “Geritol for Lunch Bunch” is still creaking and rolling.
As a rapper once said...it’s all about the Benjamins!
Was this supposed to be a secret? I have been hearing about the Concert ever since barky decided to go to Cuba and legitimize the Communist regime.
New genre: Geriatric rock!
Well, since everyone’s poor there, it would have to be free I guess.

Free? Pfftt, I hope the State Dept IG is keeping a close look at the expenditures.
As I recall, one line from a Stones song had Mick singing, “I’m no Che Guevara.” I forget which song. I guess he thought Che was cool. Probably still does.
Our _resident will probably give them Air Farce 1 to fly them in and out. He will call it a donation to the cause by the American people.
As a side note, I think Cubans are more into Salsa than old rock and roll........
True dat!
Is there modern hotels and restaurants in Cuba? I see some travel agency’s advertising a trip to Cuba. Can these tourist be so dumb they think it will be a modern and updated vacation spot?
“........ their high octane performance and incredible music......”
“Music”? What, the “Stones” are trying to drive all the snakes out of Cuba now?
