Donald Trump: Brussels 'just the beginning'

Trump 'fine' with waterboarding In an another interview, Trump also said he would be "fine" with waterboarding Salah Abdeslam, one of the leaders of the Paris attacks several months ago who was just captured in Brussels, in order to get more information on potential future attacks.

"Well I'm not looking to break any news on your show, but frankly the waterboarding, if it was up to me, and if we changed the laws or have the laws, waterboarding would be fine," the Republican front-runner said on NBC's "Today" show. "I would say they should be able to do whatever they have to do."

"You know, we work within laws. They don't work within laws -- they have no laws. We work within laws. The waterboarding would be fine, and if they could expand the laws, I would do a lot more than waterboarding," he said.

Trump has vacillated in his campaign about whether or not he would pursue using waterboarding -- which is considered torture and thus illegal. After getting criticized by former national security officials, Trump said he would instead seek to expand the laws, presumably to make such tactics legal.

“Take that terrorist attack in California. Say the police captured the wife alive. Is Trump talking about waterboarding her to get information?”

Damn, lady, what is the problem? Trump throws stuff out there and leaves people wondering? Some more than others, clearly. Maybe it’s not all about Trump.

Wolf is a moron, as proved by his Jeopardy appearance.

Made a big deal to Trump about the CIA “civilians” doing the water boarding, as it was against the USMCJ and international law for the military to engage in torture.

Tell it to the Rosenbergs.

“So who does Trump want to waterboard? Has he given any examples of who he would use it on and under what circumstances?”

I would think that the circumstances would be any foreign individual or group that thinks it is dandy to kill American citizens. Don’t get the vapors and faint. Pretty simple stuff.

Was this the same interview where Blitzer asked Trump about Megan Kelly? Trump’s response was something like, “without me, Kelly’s ratings would be worse than yours.” I am not a Trump supporter, but I have to say I loved that one. And Blitzer didn’t even catch it. He just kept trying to pound away at Trump and getting no where.

No, I missed that one, but heard that he messed with him like that all the time. He’s actually a pretty witty guy when he isn’t trying to be too cute.

I’ve seen Trump (or heard) in 2 interviews today - Savage and CNN.

He was awesome! VERY strong, not backing down one tad, a leader, and in charge.

Wolf was annoying, asking over and over about how awful waterboarding was, so bad our military didn’t want to use it.

Trump was masterful - he said he didn’t believe that about our military, they were being forced or were being political. He said anyone not for waterboarding needs to watch CNN and see the bodies.

He didn’t back down at all, in fact he came back stronger each time.

I love him more each time I see that side of him. We haven’t had a leader looking out for us in SO long!

How about starting with Hillary Clinton?

A test run, to see how it goes.

Test its effectiveness ... the subject BENGHAZI.
