Washington Post reporter says she is all upset because Trump supposedly said she was beautiful.
It sounds like she is making it up. But Trump might have been lying to be kind.

I agree. She would probably have been thrilled if Hillary said the same thing to her.

She’s an Africa American; maybe pretty but not beautiful like Vanessa Johnson was back in the day. I think he was just trying to compliment her and she overreacted for attention.

Many in the media hate him because he represents the end of their ability to elevate themselves above the rest of society, and to decide who governs and how they govern. Journalism is a noble and extremely important profession, but too many in this profession have made it about them, not about the job of being a trustworthy and good journalist. These are the ‘Woodward and Bernstein’ wannabes who were drawn to journalism to ‘be important’ instead of doing something important - and doing it honestly and correctly. Trump dismisses them, and they hate him for it. Ego, not money, is the number one cause of evil in the world, IMHO.
To: detective
It sounds like he was completing a conversation confirming she got her question answered, like a verbal thumbs up
OK, beautiful
not commenting on her somewhat ordinary face
