Where the Race Stands Donald Trump continues to lead his Republican rivals by double digits among Republican primary voters nationally. Forty-six percent of Republican primary voters would like Donald Trump to win the Republican Party's nomination for President, the same percentage as Ted Cruz (26 percent) and John Kasich (20 percent) combined. 4 percent say they would vote for none of these candidates.

Although the percentage that supports each of the three remaining candidates has risen since Jeb Bush, Ben Carson, and Marco Rubio left the race, Donald Trump has made the most gains. Support for Trump has risen eleven points -- from 35 percent in February to 46 percent now -- while support has risen eight points for Ted Cruz and nine points for John Kasich.

Pull the party together? Seriously? 53% of women in the country have a negative opinion of him. How does that change. Hillary will spend millions replaying all the sexist stupid remarks he has made.

The thing is I bet 90% of the people already have an opinion of Trump. It ain’t gonna change.

A vote for Trump is a vote for Hillary.

Reagan-Carter was a totally different situation. Afte those mid year polls that showed Carter ahead by 15, Carter was beset with the Iran hostage issue and a tanking economy. As someone running for “Obama’s third term,” Hillary faces no such approval-dragging factors.

“A vote for Trump is a vote for Hillary.”

As opposed to all those others that can’t fill a nursing home with interested parties. Got it. Only a loser can win against Hillary!

Do you seriously believe a Texas lawyer in cowboy boots, who also happens to be the most ineffective member of the Senate has ANY chance against the media machine in the general election?

This is unfair using real math versus Core math from the other side!

Trump’s floor is above Cruz’s ceiling.

Not sure about that 53% of women not liking Trump. Not from what I see. My die-hard conservative Republican women friends are more on board with Trump than their husbands. I truly have been shocked by some of them who i never ever would have believed they would vote for him, but they are all in. Why? Because finally, a Republican man with guts, brawn, and a spine of steel who is not politically correct.

First is was Rubio needs to get out of the race.
So he did. Cruz’s numbers did not go up.
Now it’s Kasich needs to get out of the race.

It doesn’t matter.

The establishment lane has a ceiling. If Cruz gets any bump, it will be establishment. That’s it.

Cruz jumping in bed with establishment hurts him, and he now sees that his outsider status is peeling off and going to Trump.

She can barely beat an old socialist in the primary!

Her negatives are almost as high as Trumps!

She is going to get crushed in the General election.

Nor I, Bella1
Being on board the Trump Train is the best ride I’ve had in years. Married sister on board, traveling with her DH. Close widow friend on board, traveling with many close friends. DH on board after I bought him a ticket and demanded :-)) he read and look at what was going on. OK no demand, just persuasion!

Trump does well with women. After his time in our OO, perhaps he will write a book for the male population as to how he manages to do what he does. Does he really have a ceiling? Do believe that the roof has been blown off and all to be seen is blue sky and sunshine.

TRUMP! TAKING IT TO THE TOP!!

No approval dragging factors? There’s a line of women waiting to come out against her husband and have everyone relive all that mess with a guy who now looks very ill only making her look older where she already has health issues. She is possibly going to be indicted for violating top secret government info policies, she can’t seem to shake an 80 year old commie in the primaries, and if you think Trump’s been bad to Lyin Ted and Little Marco, just wait till he gets started on Hillary.

Seriously, Ted’s FreeRepublican support has fallen to less than 20%.

Assuming that half are women, that means that his female support here is less than 10%. Now that’s go to really hurt.

I am being very truthful when I say shocked. I voted Trump and pretty much kept it to myself...I’m in Michigan. Over the past two weeks when asked or eluded to on who we voted for it was Trump one after the other. AND a few talked their husbands into voting Trump. Conservative Christians all and active in local politics, myself included.
