Where the Race Stands Donald Trump continues to lead his Republican rivals by double digits among Republican primary voters nationally. Forty-six percent of Republican primary voters would like Donald Trump to win the Republican Party's nomination for President, the same percentage as Ted Cruz (26 percent) and John Kasich (20 percent) combined. 4 percent say they would vote for none of these candidates.
Although the percentage that supports each of the three remaining candidates has risen since Jeb Bush, Ben Carson, and Marco Rubio left the race, Donald Trump has made the most gains. Support for Trump has risen eleven points -- from 35 percent in February to 46 percent now -- while support has risen eight points for Ted Cruz and nine points for John Kasich.

Life is about showing up.
Trump has shown up every time during this campaign season and been a fighter. He’s tireless.
I don’t see how the nomination can go to one of these others who have done so much worse and haven’t been as consistent.
Trump has hit the 50% ceiling in some polls. In New York he was at 64%. Give him another 3-4 weeks and 50% will be in rear view mirror.
Remember the 25%, 30%, 35% etc Ceilings too?
There should be a term for this kind of wishful thinking, would “Bagdad Bob’ing” work?
Is it peak Trump yet?
Ceiling, schmeiling. Is he going to drop out now?
Probably true. When people see who the inevitable nominee will be they will want to back the winning person—even if it is Trump.
If he smokes everyone on Tuesday I expect it to be very soon he hits 50% regularly. If he loses big Tuesday (unlikely) then he won’t see 50% for a long time if ever.
But, but he can’t beat Hillary says “concerned staunchly conservative American” /s
and in the same poll he loses to Hillary by 10
..But, but he cant beat Hillary’s says concerned staunchly conservative Americans”
Yes, after all upstart, renegade Reagan was 20 points behind Carter at this time in 1980.
Going by that logic, we should nominate John Kasich, since he's the only one leading Hillary Clinton in this poll.
Is that what you want?
Ooookay
But what happened to the old ceiling?
He will be dropping out any day now !
But But but we were told by all the paid Cruz trolls that Teddy the Maple Leaf would blow Trump out of the water in a one on one matchup....
That's why I encourage all who support Cruz to get out there with your dead relatives and Vote Trump!
After his well written, well organized and very well delivered speech
tonight, his number will go up even further.
For those of us who follow Trump, this speech was like no other speech
we have seen him give.
Bravo to Trump!
He already hit 53+%. Just liberals working with the progressive republican establishment to downgrade Trump.
Fake Liberal polls!
