Watching the efforts to stop Donald Trump run through the primaries to the convention this week, I was reminded of the Our Gang He-Man Woman Haters Club where Spanky and his friends embark on a futile effort to keep the members from ever falling in love with a girl.
How much of the anti-Trump conservative animus is motivated by Not of our Class snobbery and how much by the knowledge that a lot of D.C. rice bowls might be smashed by Trump is hard to say, but I think Newt Gingrichs observation deserves serious consideration:
I think its pretty simple. If you want to help elect Hillary Clinton, and you want to make sure that the unionized bureaucracies are totally in control, and you want to have a radical Supreme Court to finish eliminating our liberties, then play games like this. But thats what they are: Theyre games, Gingrich tells Breitbart News Executive Chairman and SiriusXM host Stephen K. Bannon on Breitbart News Daily.
There are two choices in America, Gingrich said. Theres the choice that accepts the continued decay and continued radicalization of Americans. Thats the Hillary Clinton road. And theres the choice that says no, we need an alternative, and thats the Donald Trump road.
But theres not a third choice, Gingrich warned:
And these people who the self-important definers of America, who are telling us about this fancy third choice, they make no sense at all. They ought to at least be honest and say to people: You know, Id rather have Hillary Clinton than the Republican nominee. Because thats what theyre doing. They ought to just form Lost Republicans for Hillary and be honest about the effect of what theyre doing

Donald Trump is among the handful who really stepped up to the plate for Reagan. Trump made arrangements for the Reagan campaign to obtain campaign office space on West 52nd street and raised over a quarter million dollars (in 1980 dollars) for the Reagan campaign coffers. Trump also set up meetings with numerous private sector union officials he was friendly with, and encouraged a number of them to bolt from Jimmy Carter and endorse Reagan.
Oh please. Everyone knows he’s a Leftist! /s
He-man? More like She-male.
Gone is the Senate
The only question left is the House.
I think of REO Speedwagon when I read He-Man-Woman-Haters-Club... Even seems like a good pro-Trump song if you think of the GOP-E as the stereotypical tough guys/rough guys.

Trump donated to Hillary, so what difference does it make?
Trump has Jeff Session, Newt Gingrich and other Conservatives advising him
Hillary Clinton has zero Conservatives on her side.
So obviously we should form a third party, the Petulance about Trump Party, because our guy did not win the primary and thus actively work to help get Hillary “Cult of Sanger and Abortion” Clinton elected
What is referred to as Stop Trump should be called the Stop the Citizens From Keeping Their Country movement.
The most important thing to the political elite is to keep the borders open and the laws unenforced until they can get us to abandon them completely.
Stop calling her “Hillary”. She wants you to call her that to disassociate herself from the Clinton name. Call her Mrs. Bill Clinton instead, a subtle reminder that she is nothing without being married to Bill Clinton.
The game is being played by both Trump and Cruz supporters. If either camp refrains from supporting the eventual nominee, well get Clintons 3rd term. Thats bad news.
Suppose Cruz wins the nomination during the second or subsequent delegate votes - will you spread the message that not voting for Cruz is a vote for Hillary?
If you want a list of names I can provide a couple that might need a good talking to.
As for me: Trump has yet to sell me on the idea that he will be a good president or that will advance the conservative movement and protect the constitution.
He may have time but as of right now - nope.
I will vote for Trump or Cruz provided they win by current rules. I’ll not support hastily thrown together rules designed to take the nomination from either of the 2 frontrunners.
Whatever the Anti-Trump movement has been doing, it’s been very effective.
Sixty-five percent of Americans view Donald Trump so unfavorably that they would never vote for him. And in the latest RealClearPolitics head-to-head competition between Hillary and Trump, Hillary is ahead by 6.3%, while Ted Cruz and John Kasich both beat Hillary, Kasich by 7.4%.
So anyone who wants Hillary to win the presidency can do one of two things — either vote for Trump in the remaining primaries so he can be the Republican nominee and thereby lose to Hillary by more than 6%, or vote for Hillary directly in the general election.
On the other hand, anyone who wants to keep Hillary out of the White House and elect a Republican instead, can simply vote for John Kasich in the remaining primaries so that he can win the nomination and beat Hillary by more than 7% in November.
The arithmetic is clear. It will be either John Kasich or Ted Cruz against Hillary, or Hillary can start picking out drapes for the White House.
The crafty republican elite has enlisted the assistance of those who will be willing to Bork Trump. Borking is an insidious undermining of anyone the Progresives want to diminish or destroy. In this case Trump, because Hillary fears what Trump will do to her in debate.
Republicans who will not stand with a solid republican contender are falling into the anti-Trump trap of the elites and the progressive democrats. Without Trump the Republicans will lose.

Oooooooh, that hits the Hildebeast where it counts! Excellent! Thanks.
