Tell ‘em they plan to use it to bake a cake for a gay wedding. Then sue the snot out of ‘em.
No, Fair housing stuff is insane... you can’t say things like “walking distance” or “safe neighborhood” in your ads.. folks don’t have a clue how ridiculous the fair housing rules are... This guy I am sure has violated them. Need to have an avid supporter want the apt be denied and then file a formal complaint.
2 things come to mind here:
First, why is it OK to discriminate in a business relationship on the basis of political opinion (protected by the 1st Amendment), but it is somehow NOT OK to discriminate on the basis of religion, sexual orientation, etc. (also protected by the 1st Amendment - or so says the Supreme Court)?????
Second, I wouldn’t want to give one thin dime to a Dem if I could avoid it - I wouldn’t want them to be able to give any (more) money to a Dem/Leftist candidate. So EFF’EM!

Is it legal to even ask a potential renter who he/she is going to vote for? I do not think so.
