Well, I agree and think that he'd do well against Clinton. But the bigger picture here is that he's essentially guaranteeing that he won't drop out before the convention. So, assuming that's true, and further assuming that Trump doesn't have the 1,237 he needs beforehand...

If the delegates vote on the first ballot and Trump is still short of the 1,237 he needs, then the delegates pledged to Trump can be released for the 2nd ballot. If those are the rules, isn't it fairly easy to presume that something unique can happen at the convention?

I am "ABC" all the way so for me, there doesn't have to be a sharp contrast in candidates to get me to vote. But I find it fascinating if the system can move the nomination away from Trump without even using "shenanigans".

was a representative and is governing a state in the republic. Does anyone wonder why we’re in a mess? The UNIPARTY candidate sums it up.

This is solely about himself. To think he could steal the election without votes from the people, is asinine. He’s underhanded and thinks he can get this any way he can. The more he’s out there, the more crazy he sounds.. off the wall delusional. obama, hillary, kasich, all in or seeking the highest office in the land.. and all are delusional.. The press picks and chooses ... destroys and protects at will... controls the people with their lies.

From this viewpoint, there is so much corruption running rampant that the only thing that might save us is a man like Trump... who is not afraid of anyone/anything ... and who they are trying to stop because they fear him and cannot control him. Washington is so corrupt I don’t know if it can be salvaged. The corruption at the ballot box may tell the final story. Anything at any cost... for power.

GOPe argues that Trump shouldn't get the nomination because he didn't win a majority of delegates.

Selects the guy who's third in the delegate count as their nominee.

The reality of the matter is that, like Jeb Bush, there isn’t a nickel’s worth of difference between Kasich and Clinton anyway.

Kasich is an idiot. He would lose to Hillary.

Does he really think all these Republicans are going to vote for him after the Establishment VOIDS their votes?

What a delusional turd!

I know a lot of people that will vote against every Republican across the board to ensure the destruction of the party.

It will certainly be the end of the Republican party if they are dumb enough to steal it.

Up till about a month ago I was an anybody but Trump voter in the primaries... however, the more I saw the desperation of Cruz and Rubio, the less I liked them. Then when Cruz said that Trump was responsible for the savage, anarchist Sander’s protesters, and that fact that Cruz helped win the nomination process for SCCJ John Roberts, I’ve thrown my vote to Trump, and I feel good about it... Kasich is just a hunch-back, pooch-lipped politician of small stature.

At a brokered convention don’t leave out the possibility that the nominee will be someone
other than Cruz, Kasich or Trump. Once the gope gets involved with the wheeling and dealing
any outcome is a possiblity, imo.

I previous fell for the Kaysick for VP idea. I’m going to be “flexible” and change my mind.

Kaysick has shown just how deranged he really is. He is a KOOK.

A brokered convention, without Trump or Cruz, and I'll stay home.

The powers that be will have proven that our votes don't matter.

Says the guy who has won ONE state.

Sort of like the guy who lost to the guy Obama beat in 2008.

Sort of like the guy who lost in 2012 and thinks the convention would turn to him in desperation.

==

For all of those pundits, commentators, newsies, consultants who talk in negatives language, Kasich may not be the most unpopular, but so far, he has 2,725,358 primary votes or 13.37%. That means, according to those who talk in negatives, that 86.63% have voted against him.
