Kasich: Here’s How I’ll Win the Nomination – and the Election
Yahoo Politics ^ | 3/21 | Eric Pianin

Kasich -- who has thus far won just a single primary contest in his home state of Ohio – was adamant that Trump will come up short in the delegate count prior to the July national convention in Cleveland. Kasich predicted he will eventually garner the nomination in an open convention on the basis of his broad government experience and electability in a general election against Democrat Hillary Rodham Clinton.

“I think when they take a look at my record, both in Washington and Ohio with the job growth, the wage growth, reforming the Pentagon, and can understand I have the cross-over appeal, I think I will be picked,” Kasich said during an appearance on CBS News’ Face the Nation. “So, I don’t think anybody is going to get there with the delegates that they need to win.”

This is solely about himself. To think he could steal the election without votes from the people, is asinine. He’s underhanded and thinks he can get this any way he can. The more he’s out there, the more crazy he sounds.. off the wall delusional. obama, hillary, kasich, all in or seeking the highest office in the land.. and all are delusional.. The press picks and chooses ... destroys and protects at will... controls the people with their lies.

From this viewpoint, there is so much corruption running rampant that the only thing that might save us is a man like Trump... who is not afraid of anyone/anything ... and who they are trying to stop because they fear him and cannot control him. Washington is so corrupt I don’t know if it can be salvaged. The corruption at the ballot box may tell the final story. Anything at any cost... for power.

You know the country is in a mess when KKK protesters at a Trump rally don't get blamed for inciting violence, Trump does. Now that's wacky.

Controlled progressive props properly placed to jumpstart a UNIPARTY media narrative and/or highly paid socialist soldiers on the battlefield of perception.

GOPe argues that Trump shouldn't get the nomination because he didn't win a majority of delegates.

Selects the guy who's third in the delegate count as their nominee.

The reality of the matter is that, like Jeb Bush, there isn’t a nickel’s worth of difference between Kasich and Clinton anyway.

Kasich is an idiot. He would lose to Hillary.

Does he really think all these Republicans are going to vote for him after the Establishment VOIDS their votes?

What a delusional turd!

I know a lot of people that will vote against every Republican across the board to ensure the destruction of the party.

It will certainly be the end of the Republican party if they are dumb enough to steal it.

Once it is mathematically impossible for Cruz to win, then I expect him to withdraw and throw his support to Trump That will be the end of all this ‘brokered convention’ baloney (which I do not think Cruz wants)

I hope so...my respect for Cruz has gone down to just about zilch. This would bump it back up.

And by his own admission, as the heart of his plan is to snag the candidacy without actually earning it, he is an admitted thief!

Much more likely we get a Trump-Cruz ticket out of a contested convention.

Why would this help? As a sop to conservatives? We got Palin with McCain and Ryan with Romney; those picks were supposed to make us feel better about having what amounted to a liberal at the top of the ticket. And what about the Trump supporters? Why would they want a lying, conniving, cheating Canadian son-of-a-bitch running alongside their hero?

Trump should pick Kasich. It might help lock up Ohio in the general election.

Up till about a month ago I was an anybody but Trump voter in the primaries... however, the more I saw the desperation of Cruz and Rubio, the less I liked them. Then when Cruz said that Trump was responsible for the savage, anarchist Sander’s protesters, and that fact that Cruz helped win the nomination process for SCCJ John Roberts, I’ve thrown my vote to Trump, and I feel good about it... Kasich is just a hunch-back, pooch-lipped politician of small stature.

Trump will not pick Cruz as a running mate for two reasons:

1. He doesn't need Cruz to win Texas; and

2. He has stated his belief that Cruz is ineligible to be president and picking Cruz would be contrary to that position.

At a brokered convention don’t leave out the possibility that the nominee will be someone
other than Cruz, Kasich or Trump. Once the gope gets involved with the wheeling and dealing
any outcome is a possiblity, imo.

“Daddy Bush was no conservative,”

It was Reagan’s coattails he rode in on. That
was the conservative I was talking about.

I previous fell for the Kaysick for VP idea. I’m going to be “flexible” and change my mind.

Kaysick has shown just how deranged he really is. He is a KOOK.
