Glenn Beck brought a fasting child on stage yesterday during his campaign speech for Ted Cruz in Utah. Beck declared to the Cruz crowd: “This is the priesthood rising.”

Soros hates Trump with a passion. I read that Soros contributed to Cruz’s campaign.
So right now their strategy is a mix of wild talk, Hail Mary passes, and kamikaze attacks by each of the GOP-e candidates in the race in turn, desperately hoping that something, anything, will turn the tide and end this nightmare called Trump.

Having Beck as part of Cruz’s campaign was simply a BIG mistake on his part.
Even the Democrats are breaking apart, coalition wise. Just look at the number of Trump rallies to see folks of all different backrounds.

Agreed - Beck is an alcoholic who is abstinent and substituting his addiction for alcohol with a massive manic very high dry drunk and this is the source of the bizarre behavior he is manifesting.
And/or he has picked up again - unlikely alcohol as it would be smelled, but likely pills of some sort.
People need to turn him off and stop enabling his dry drunk delirium rather than getting caught up in it - these behaviors are strangely easy pass on to others, even via radio.

Beck reminds me of people I’ve known who did not seek/accept professional therapy for substance abuse issues-both as a workers comp case manager in my professional capacity and in my personal life.
Those individuals do not see their addiction/abuse as a symptom, but rather the problem, and so will not address the issues driving their behavior-they will continue to seek co-dependent relationships. Some set themselves up as gurus at self help groups, projecting their issues onto others. Since Beck has plenty of money and a microphone, as you pointed out, he has made every person in his following his enabler-his behavior is indeed bizarre-If I were his case manager, I’d get a psychotherapist to recommend a voluntary commitment for 60-90 days with intensive psychotherapy...
Glen Beck is giving Mormons a bad name! He is ‘round the bend’ yet claiming to be mainstream Mormonism. The entire state of Utah is being painted as beckian types.
This makes me cringe.
Not just because of child abuse.
Fasting for spiritual discipline, or repentance, or praying that God’s will be done among us are all good things. Not necessary, but it may be very helpful for some people and it’s a church tradition.
This, however, is fasting in order to try to manipulate God into doing what you want.
That’s the Biblical definition of witchcraft. ‘Magic’ in Biblical times wasn’t the pointy hat wizards that we think of today. In Biblical times, magicians were the ones who ‘knew’ how to manipulate and control the gods into doing what you wanted. No wonder our Lord hated that.
But Beck is using this fasting stuff to try to make God do what he wants, and he’s dragging people into it, and Cruz seems to be approving of it!
That makes me sick.
