If Cruz's chances of getting the nomination are a "near impossibility", why is he still in the race?

The same reason Kasich, who NEVER had any chance and voters outside of Ohio knew it, is still in the race - TO STEAL THE NOMINATION (not to mention the big bucks thrown their way as "contributions").

In his head, he is a winner.
He will try to negotiate VP position with Trump

Here is a very excellent interactive page showing the Trump and Cruz paths to winning the nomination.

He is hoping to keep Trump from 1237. Then he is hoping to win a contested convention.

Lots of hope, not much reality.

I read where he is calling on people to meet that have a lot of money, and I noticed here in Utah instead of having his ‘TrusTED’ back sign, he had ‘Keep the Promise’ so I am wondering if he is running low on funds, because people are not supporting him like they were...

I do know the ads here in Utah are full of lies...Ksick isn’t to bad, Romney is a loser, but we all know that...

I don’t know what he is doing unless he thinks because obuma went in as a 3 year senator from Hawaii (Kenya) Cruz can do the same from Texas (Canada)...

Please let it be!

13 minute video reveals that Trump “GETS IT.”
This is why the oligarchs are suffering embarrassing bouts of public diurnal enuresis.
There will be MANY MORE attempts on Trump and his family. I just pray they FAIL and the criminals responsible face justice (but I’m not holding my breath).
I haven’t been an Alex Jones fan as his stuff tends toward the sensational. That said, hearing that there REALLY IS a plan in place to take over the world can be rather sensational to folks who hear it for the first time and/or suffer severe guilt for knowing it — and have done nothing to resist while knowing that their children and grandchildren will be denied the birthright THEY inherited!
Now — thanks to Trump — that that plan is becoming clear to millions of folks, Jones is becoming more mainstream every day.
Here is one of his more “interesting” videos: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sDr2NJPv8kE

PLEASE WATCH THEN SHARE WIDELY!

Stupid. You don’t call a pennant race early regardless of the stats. First place teams can collapse, second place teams can close and at least become a strong second - anything can happen.

Convention is a ways off. Anything can happen before then, however unlikely. In any event, Cruz might as well obtain as many delegates as he can.

Trump meeting Monday is a good sign the party is ready to accept the fact he will be nominee. Kasich and Cruz will get out before primary ends.

Trump is guaranteed nothing. If Trump continues along at his average 42% and Cruz simply bumps his up to a 48% average, Cruz would have the delegate lead going into the convention. IF that were to happen, would the same calls saying the delegates leader should be the nominee be made then if it wasn't Trump?
