Why are Libertarians jumping to Donald Trump?
Roger Stone gives us the inside story.

Trump is an American, born, bred and raised in America, and is fighting for America...
Two words: Gary Johnson
Libertarians are for the free market, not socialism using free market terms.
Libertarians purists will vote Gary Johnson (1%), but Libertarian populists and pragmatics will go for Donald Trump.

| Roger Stone is the best talking head for Trump you could ever ask for. We owe him a big debt of gratitude for carrying the water: his books exposed the corruption of the Bushes and Clintons. Plus he's made many many appearances on radio shows, TV, InfoWars, etc. Thank you, Roger Stone. |
He makes the point that Cruz is just another Bushite.
Personally I’ve always considered myself a Libertarian, Nationalist and a Conservative. I want the maximum amount of liberty that is practical, realizing that there are limits forced by what is realistically possible. I want a strong nation, because it’s a dangerous world and without a strong national government we won’t have any liberty at all. And I’m a conservative because the things generally are the way they are for a good reason, and we should be slow and careful to make changes that could have unforeseen (or foreseen) consequences. Those goals are somewhat at odds with each other and the trick is to find the right balance.
Interesting video, thanks.
Extreme libertarian myself, and am partial to Trump.
Trump is no perfect Libertarian by any means, but I can understand how he appeals on a few fronts. Not a globalist, not a neocon interventionist, etc.
I agree...a New World Order Bushite.
Trump is going to rock the world. The rules and regs gone. The PC BS gone. I am all in. Cruz does not inspire anyone. Protesters don’t show up at his events. Maybe he can rent some from Soros.
I guess I missed where Gary Johnson was actually a libertarian purist and not merely a ‘none of the above’ choice... Thank you for correcting me.
Rodger Stone is a nasty mole. But he is our nasty mole. The man worked on both of Reagans campaigns and did some real undermining of the opposition.
He does not appear to like the Bush or Clinton families much. That is a plus in my view.
Oh he really dislikes them. I would not doubt that Stone tought Lee Atwater a thing or two about being nasty. Stone got into the business way back in the early 70s. Is a vet of the Ford-Reagan convention and worked behind the scenes for Reagan there.
Libertarians are for the free market, not socialism using free market terms.
oh sorry, Gary Johnson is not a libertarian purist, but libertarian purists will vote for him because he’s in the Libertarian party.

Libertarian Party Platform wants “free flow of goods and people” - aka “open borders” basically. Really a globalist type of plan.
It would seem that there is a division in the Libertarian Party on the issue of borders.
