Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump is firing back after conservative New York Times columnist David Brooks called for the GOP to reject Trump.
“While I have never met @nytdavidbrooks of the NY Times, I consider him one of the dumbest of all pundits- he has no sense of the real world!” Trump tweeted early Saturday morning.
“Reading @nytdavidbrooks of the NY Times is a total waste of time, he is a clown with no awareness of the world around him- dummy!” he added.

Regardless of who you support not too many people will argue with Trump’s assessment of David Brooks.

David thinks a creased pant leg is the highest qualification for POTUS there is.
They are hitting Trump with all they have—Reminds me of what the Media and GOP did to the Tea Party and Sarah Palin. Its one thing to face the slings and arrows of the left—that’s expected, but when the GOP join in its like a stab in the back. I will never vote for Tricy Ted Cruz.

Using Dumb to describe a Pundit is redundant.
Brooks’ problem is he typically buys empty barrels. Just as empty as the NYT is to me, he attains the same rating and Trump is entirely correct on his assessment. Brooks is nothing but a tool for the left and a willing participant to boot. Just another self absorbed actor who aligns himself with anyone who will not say bad things about him.
