You are wrong. The Progressive movement has existed, using that name for well over a 100 years! It came about because Socialists wanted the economic change, but knew that in the US, it would require another massive Civil War (and people were still alive at the time who remembered the last one). So, they (google Senator Robert LaFollette Sr) invented a movement to “progress” the American people using the nudge (by education, regulation, and social engineering) to gradually transform us into a nation of willing socialists who would then simply ask the government to conform to their desired way of life.
It has patiently pressed forward (hence the Forward! imagery) for a century. It has used other names, but those who aren’t just useful idiots have retained the Progressive label the whole time. They even have a magazine! That’s how easy it would be for people to understand the true evil we face, but we (the Conservatives) are too busy listening to Rush and hanging out in comfortable echo chambers to get out and LEARN what the enemy really thinks.
Trump is no Progressive. He is the opposite of a Progressive. But, he is exposing the entire system of Progressive education, media, and government (to include both parties) as the Progressives that they are.

Because words mean things. If they choose to use the term, then we can communicate effectively with each other by being able to know the difference between a Progressive and a Liberal. Likewise, it is helpful to understand the similarities between a Progressive and some career politicians.

I’d much rather support someone who is not totally down the line conservative, and is honest about it.
Versus someone who votes “yes” on critical votes to get something passed, then votes “no” on cosmetic votes to deceive the gullible.

Bottom line is no law will ever stop abortions from happening. The pro-life choice has to come from the heart of the individual. You can inspire people to make that choice but you will never force people to make that choice through laws.

After we posted this thread,I saw Cruz on TV vowing to stay in to the bitter end - looks like he's got more ego than "champion" in him and is willing to send us all South under a Hillary regime. Since I used to donate to him, I get a lot of calls asking for more - can't wait to talk to the next person that rings me up ...
