Here are some links for Franklin Graham speaking on Trump.
Also, a story about Trump attending Grahams 95th birthday. I also found one, yes just one, where Franklin Graham didn’t agree with Trump on Kim Davis. I included that also.

Why would anyone with any self respect make any political deals with Trump at this point? He has repeatedly proved to be an utterly unprincipled sleazy smear artist with an egg shell ego, a cadre of goons, a long history of crony capitalism, and no interest whatsoever in the U.S. Constitution.

Moreover, without ever holding a public office his negatives are higher than Hillary Clinton's!!!! I do not understand why anyone on a site called "Free Republic" would support him at this point. You are being duped.

No, ravina, I am not being duped.

The facts are what they are. Trump, whether you like it or not, or whatever anyone else thinks about it, has tapped into the groundswell against establishment politicians.

We need someone like Cruz to balance that equation out and help unite the p[arty so we can make the best of this situation possible and win in November.

And Ted Cruz is the only one who can do that.

That’s why.

At this point, Cruz is not going to get the delegates needed.

Trump very well could.

If we have a bitter, slug-fest at the convention where a Trump with maybe 1150 or more delegates is denied the nomination, the results will almost assuredly throw the election to Hillary which will be far worse. for our nation

So that is why such a deal should be struck.

You may not like it...heck a lot will not like it...but in order to create the best outcome for our republic in this state of affairs, it is what I hope happens.

I couldn't agree more, ravinson.

The man is unprincipled and immoral, and there are hundreds of examples that he has left in his wake to prove the fact that he stands for nothing other than his own self-aggrandizement and wealth/power accumulation. He has stepped on, and mercilessly slandered, more people (both 'little people' and big ones) on his way to the top than most of us even realize.

The thought of a man as personally principled and firmly rooted in the Constitution as Ted Cruz (the only candidate fully capable of filling Ronald Reagan's shoes who has come along since Reagan left the White House) teaming up with such an unprincipled ogre is unconscionable.

We are not supposed to compromise with evil, not matter the threats or repercussions involved.

Even if all we knew about Donald Trump were his most recent offenses committed against Heidi Cruz, that would be sufficient to disqualify him from holding America's highest office, on grounds that he is a lying, superficial, petulant character assassin.

Unfortunately, he has committed significantly more, and deeper, immoral crimes than this latest one. The count increases daily, and if that fact is not significant enough for the American electorate to turn away from this evil man, then America, unfortunately, deserves the bleak future that will lie ahead, whether it be under a Trump or Clinton presidency. If you place your faith in an unprincipled, characterless candidate (no matter the capital letter behind his/her name) who has no respect for truth or personal integrity, you are rolling a pair of dice whose outcome will be disastrous, at best. History is replete with such examples, but we Americans appear to be slow learners, despite the brilliant, painstaking roadmap laid out for us by our Founders and the unimaginable sacrifices they made in order to author it.

The facts are what they are. Trump, whether you like it or not, or whatever anyone else thinks about it, has tapped into the groundswell against establishment politicians.

A sleazeball who is an enemy of your enemy is not someone you should align with unless absolutely necessary.

If we have a bitter, slug-fest at the convention where a Trump with maybe 1150 or more delegates is denied the nomination, the results will almost assuredly throw the election to Hillary which will be far worse for our nation.

If Trump has only 1150 delegates at the convention that means that 1322 (i.e. the majority) are against Trump. Since Trump hasn't figured out yet that he has to earn the balance he would need on a second (or later) ballot by being fair to his competitors, then he does not deserve the nomination and is not the negotiator he claims to be.

If Hillary gets elected, perhaps the decent Trump supporters will take the time to learn something about math and nomination politics before the next election.

Say what you will.

We can wait and see what the convention brings.

Far better at this point to recognize and drive home the fact that in terms of GOP voters and delegates, well over 70% of both are aligned with the two anti-establishment candidates and for those two candidates to come together and unite the vast majority of voters and slam dunk the GOPe in the process.

That would be best for the GOP and for the country.

Those are my thoughts...others can certainly disagree...but that is what I hope happens.

Well stated! I suspect that Bill Clinton was thrilled when Trump told him he would be seeking the Republican nomination. Since then the Clinton Global Initiative scandal has been shoved into the background to the maximum extent possible and Trump has proven to be such a talented snake oil salesman that he is on verge of conning just enough Republican customers to grease Hillary's White House skids.

Donald Trump is not really part of the GOP and is a well established member of the Manhattan/Atlantic City/Miami/Chicago/Las Vegas cut-throat amoral crony capitalist cabal. He only got in the race to raise his visibility and sell more Trump-stamped products. He's just as hideous as the ugly tatoos that people get when they're not as sober as they should be and after having invested so much in them can't afford the pain or price of removal.

Nonsense, he employs a ton of people in a sticks and bricks business.
He worked hard and negotiated smart.

Both being “anti establishment” is not enough. There are serious differences. There may be others we could all support.
