Lindsey Graham will host a fundraiser for Ted Cruz next Monday.
While Graham has not formally endorsed Cruz, the fundraiser is a sign that Graham at least prefers Cruz over Donald Trump and John Kasich, something Graham confirmed in a comment to the Washington Examiner.
"He's the best alternative to Donald Trump," he said.

That’s Lindsey’s choice and Cruz right now is their only alternative, so that’s fine with me.

This endorsement is the political kiss of death for Cruz. I knew he wasn’t a conservative when he went TPP . He has no conservative left in him with Linda Graham anywhere near him. CRUZ IS FOR AMNESTY!!!!! We see it in the open now!!

Man I like your screen name. Look who's talking! Pretty good one yourself.
Anyway, yeah, the direct election of Senators was the beginning of the shift of power from the people and states to the major parties. I guess in theory, they thought if people could vote directly for their Senator, that they would have more control. But that six year term negates that power. The people can be ignored for five years. And when the two parties started handing out all those perks, the people have been largely forgotten except during election years.

Cruz's new dream team of Neil Bush, Elliott Abrams, and Linda Graham is looking more and more like a shadow cabinet for another Bush administration. Don't forget the mouth piece El Rushbo, who's done sleepovers at a Bush White House. Nothing to see there right?
The whole thing with Rafael Cruz reeks like a week old homicide scene.

The GOPe is really getting desperate in their attempt to stop the Trump Train. They dont like Cruz either but are going to bat for him? Theyre acting more and more like Democrats every day.

If a fellow senator jested on national TV that if you were murdered on the floor of the senate and the trial was held in the senate no one would be convicted would you want him fundraising for you? Only if your naked ambition was stronger than your dignity.

The establishment is only using him in the short term to take out Trump. Afterwards, he will be cut loose.
My take on the deal.

This is not complex poopman.Very true...except you forget one very important element...
Rush is an very well paid entertainer first and foremost...
This primary season he has to walk a tightrope...offending listeners is bad for business...
I'd say he has been relatively fair, does lean Cruz simply because he is a constitutional conservative unlike Trump...
BTW, nice idiotic comment on my name...
Must be that Trump effect I keep hearing about....

As usual, you nail it FRiend. And as far as I'm concerned, this whole doctrine about "7 Mountains" or "7 Dominions" or whatever it is, and how Cruz is 'annointed' to rule over our society doesn't sound like any Christian teaching that I've ever heard of, it sounds more like a cult and the suckers continue to hang on his every word.
In Iowa, it was Senator "Awaken and Energize the Body of Christ", Mr. "Put On the Full Armor of God" and his rallies had all the flavor of old time revivals, but then came New Hampshire and that Spiritual Energizer Bunny he had been invoking never even got mentioned, and it appears that he didn't need that 'armor of God' either. So he lost New Hampshire and if he didn't get that message from the Lord, he got another one in that big evangelical battlefield of South Carolina where he did not win one county, Trump swept them all with the exception of 3 counties that went for Rubio.
That's about the time he should have jettisoned Glenn Beck, got down on his hands and knees and said "are ya tryin' to tell me somethin' here Lord?"
Instead, he sold out to the GOPe, the Bushes, and the rest of the establishment who hate Trump.
Cruz is done.

I was just reading another news site and a headline read “Graham endorses Cruz” and I was like “Franklin Graham? NOOOOOO!” Read further and was relieved that it was just Goober.

Yeah he is, and more than a few of us did our own research on Cruz a long time ago, and gave him a D=
