I disagree with the general premise of this piece.
Jeb Bush wasn't a "marketing flop" at all. His brand was so badly tainted that I find it hard to believe anyone really thought he was electable. With his last name, he would have had almost no chance of winning a presidential election even if he was the perfect candidate in every other way.

Exactly. It was ludicrous from the very beginning. America is NOT going to elect three presidents from the same family, no matter what family it is. This was a complete fail right off the bat and I’m stunned so many of those big money people invested in it. Dullards.
