Both CNN and Fox had Kasich leading the exit polls.

I’m not surprised by OH based on the people I know form there and who I have talked too.

This is an advantage for Trump if Kasich’s Ohio win keeps JK in the race and prevents a Trump one-on-one with Cruz.

Disagree. At this point its pretty certain Trump is going to have more delegates than anyone else. The big remaining question is can he get over half of them to avoid having a brokered convention. If he had won Ohio, it would have been much more likely.

You are likely correct. It’s to late for any of the 4 going in to today’s voting to run third party.

There’s no way in hell Trump will win California in the general election. Too many mexicans.

It’s home turf, like TX is for Cruz. Makes no difference. Now that RubiNo is out, Trump can run the table. Cruz has alienated himself, but as the last man standing (in Trumps’s way) the GOPe will play even nicer with him. Too bad he will fall in bed with them. Sad really.

I’m a Buckeye, and I resent your remarks. The media and the thugs did a number on Trump. However, there are many, low information voters here in OH. I’ve talked with a few of them. Most of them don’t even know about delegates, etc. Kasich’s Common Core at work.,

Exactly. Not sure why 1) people are surprised that a sitting governor with an 80% approval rating won his home state or 2) why ANY Freeper puts any faith in exit polls. Seriously...all I hear in a general election is why they suck and yet...every Trump voter today is proclaiming their omniscience.

7% reporting - not saying the Kasich has not won but this seems way to early to call it. Some of the larger cites have virtually nothing to report yet at all. Does anyone else think this is to early?

-"said earlier today I was worried about OH, just because the people there who I know are totally clueless."

Yep. The proof is the fact that they actually elected this doofus to begin with.

This is baloney. Kasich has not won Ohio. He did well in early voting, but they are just starting to count today’s vote. The vote from after Kasich came out and said he’ll legalize everyone. Of course Fox quickly calls it, since they have TDS.

11% in. This is statistically significant, if it represents the other 89% of Ohio. I'd wait.
Candidate Percentage Votes Votes Behind
John Kasich 42.9% 178,933 --
Donald Trump35.8% 149,511 -29,422
Ted Cruz 14.6% 60,826 -118,107
Marco Rubio 4.4% 18,566 -160,367
All Others 2.3% 9,659 -169,274

Precincts Reporting 11.8%
Total Votes 402,330

Not a surprise, really. I mean, it’s his home state. But that is the only state Kasich will win.

That’s what I’m talking about. Sorry about your situation, but Ill stick with my personal opinion.

I’ve known several Buckeyes that moved over here from Ohio, and even they get credit for moving out, they just seemed messed up in the head.

It increases Cruz’s ability to reach a majority by denying Trump a winner take all state that is Ohio.

Kasich, Cruz Record Weakest Home State GOP Primary Victory in 100 years.

Cruz won TX by 17.1%. Do you guarantee that Trump wins by at least that margin in NY in a 3 man race?

And btw.... Cruz did that in a 5 man race.
