In the past few days, the world has focused on the scary aspects of the Trump movement as a whole, but on Monday night, the front-runner reminded us that there's also something disturbing and sadistic going on in his personal relationship with Chris Christie.
Rather than attending the Monday funeral of a state trooper killed in the line of duty, Christie opted to further anger his constituents by spending the day on the campaign trail with Donald Trump who showed his appreciation by humiliating him again.
While campaigning in North Carolina this morning, Christie had the privilege of questioning Trump at a town-hall-style event. According to the New York Times, at one point Trump said that had he not excelled at every debate, "I would have been like the other people out!" Christie "scratched the back of his neck in the seat across from him."

Too late; it fainted.
“Thats the thing about Yankees, theyll tell ya what they think.....even if ya dont ask. LOL”
I thought Yankees were taciturn.
Trump and Christie aren’t Yankees really.
They’re ethnic immigrant 20th century eastern sea boarders.
Their Ancestors came way to late to be Yankees.
No matter what you think of Trump, liberal “reporting” of his campaign is nothing more than snark.
I almost admire your ability to miss the point.
Why? Is today “Talk Like a Third Grader Day”?
Which ones?
Yes, same as Sarah Palin when she said at the rally in Tampa. “Donald’s a uniter after all look, I’m on the same stage a Christie”.
“But Cruz missing key Senate votes is just fine. Got it.”
Exactly. Still drawing that check while running a campaign with zero chance of winning. Quite the hero there.
The other candidates are just so awful, so I’ll stick with Trump.
Christie is the Beta Dog because he doesn't qualify as a Lap Dog!
This is all that’s left for them.
Transposing characters of 3rd-grade insults.
Trump is now inevitable. Thank God.
It looked like Trump was mocking his own supporters. He made fun of the wall.
Do you think Christie should have skipped the State Trooper’s funeral?
Handy tip: writers who use the word "scary" to describe things like political campaigns are complete wusses who feel their "safe spaces" being invaded.
Gov. Christie is a good Gov. and he has a great Lt. Gov. and if wants to go with Trump, who he endorsed, it's none of anyone’s business...
Quit with the ‘letting people run your life’ crap and see what the ‘elite’ are trying to do...

This is silly.
