Kasich breaks ranks, speaks of climate change
Columbus Dispatch ^ | 4/10/12 | Joe Vardon

In a room full of Republican donors last week, Gov. John Kasich said something you don’t normally hear at a GOP fundraiser.

“This isn’t popular to always say, but I believe there is a problem with climates, climate change in the atmosphere,” Kasich told a Ross County Republican function on Thursday. “I believe it. I don’t know how much there is, but I also know the good Lord wants us to be good stewards of his creation. And so, at the end of the day, if we can find these breakthroughs to help us have a cleaner environment, I’m all for it.”

Mr. Mabelkitty thinks Kasich is going to rig the vote and when they do, Kasich is going to ‘win’ and they are going to use these themes to convince voters this is what wins elections.

Listen folks, he is no longer trying to get our votes....he believes the people in charge are going to give it to him at the convention.

He is totally auditioning to them. That can be the only explanation for the crap he’s saying.

The GOP - Establishment at work.

They must go. As must the DNC.

Sweep all of them out. Don’t let crazy Uncle Bernie or Benghazi Hillary in either.

Why did he wait until the night before the primary to come out as a liberal democrat?

Aha, that makes sense. I wondered when I read earlier today that he had gone full open borders. I couldn’t understand why he was admitting to being a total RINO.

Your theory makes sense.

More like Kamikaze Kasich - he's in a power dive, loaded with explosives.

Not a new or original thought, but why isn’t he running as a democrat?

Kasich. Pro illegal immigration; pro “assault weapon” ban; climate change zealot; pro tax increases; pro common core; pro-islam; pro Obamacare. The guy should be running as a Democrat.

The states have never delegated to the feds, expressly via the Constitution, the specific power to regulate, tax and spend for INTRAstate environmntal issues. So will somebody please volunteer a link that explains how Gov. Kasich is rallying the state legislatures and Congress to propose a climate change amendment to the Constitution so that Congress has the constituitonal authority to legislatively address intrastate climate change issues?

I tried Googling the issue and got Kasich links concerning proposing an amendment to balance the budget, but saw nothing for climate change.

"He wants to be one of those Republicans that Democrats love (but still wouldn’t vote for), so he can have a TV career when he’s done as Governor."

Bingo! I think you hit the mark.
