The point I was trying to make is that it appears no matter what ones religion is, if they don't like that person one of the calls is that they are from a so called BAD religion. Therefore maybe they would rather an Atheist.
Anyway Ted Cruz says he is a Baptist.

I don’t know what his private beliefs are. However his dad is campaigning for him at various churches and events, and he is heavily steeped in Dominionism and believes in redistribution of wealth thru the Kings....his son being one.
that is not in the mainstream of Evangelical or Pentecostal teachings.
