Those Democrats basically were saying it was okay for mussies to discriminate based on their pseudo religion but not for Christians to discriminate.

I had an experience aboiut 20 years ago in the small town in Montana where my wife and I and our five kids lived at the time.

We owned and operated a small business where we did printing and also office supply for that small town and the surrounding ranches.

One day the owner of a local photography business came in and asked me if I could print up some posters for her.

I said sure, but I would need to see them first and determine what she wanted...how big the posters would be. Whther they were in color, gray shades, or black and white. What type of material. Etc.

She had them in a folder and we went back to the print area and she showed them to me.

They were a bunch of filthy, lesbian sex photos. I immediately put her pictures back in her folder, gave them to her, and told her that our shop would not be printing the posters.

She said that they were for her private collection and would not be displayed. I said it did not matter, that I would not print them.

She asked if I was open to the public and I said yes. She then told me I would be required by law to print them for her.

I took her to our front desk and showed her the sign over the main counter that said, “We reserve the roight to refuse service to anyone at any time for any reason,” which then cited the code for saying so.

She got angry and told me that the law did not apply to public services that I offered and that she would take me to court and force me to print her pictures.

I told her:

“Listen so-and-so, I WILL NOT PRINT THOS EPICTURES. First of all I believe you will lose your court case. But if you somehow found a pantywaist judge to rule in your favor, I would burn my store down, with the printer and all my equipment, before I would print those pictures. Maybe you could get your pantywaist judge to send me to jail...but I still would not print those pictures. Now, you are no longer welcome here and you’d best take your filthy little back side out of my shop before I call the seriff and have yo arrested for tress-pass.”

I had raised my voice at that last and several customers and my wife turned to look at me.

The lady left in a huff...and I never heard from her again.

My other customers, on hearing what happened, applauded it.

Is there objection from major corporations and business leaders etc. etc. to this legislation.

There was last year in Arkansas and Indiana when religious freedom legislation moved and the Republican governors (Mike Pence of IN and Asa Hutchinson of AR) backed away.

Does the legislation got any teeth in it or is watered down but still enough to trigger the Nixon veto and create a false emotional issue?

Real religious freedom legislation with teeth in it was shot down in Arizona back in 2014 (Mitt Romney tweeted against it, John McCain objected, then GOP Governor Jan Brewer vetoed it).

Why no noise here in opposition? Is this fake feel good legislation?

Stay tuned. When the business leaders like Tim Cook of Apple, the professional and college sports organizations, Doug McMillon of Wal-Mart raise their objections, I’ll believe this is serious legislation.

So far I don’t see that.
