Of course, this didn’t happen. The opposite is true, but you can be sure that would be the headline had conservative opponents of Sanders prevented his rally in suburban Chicago from taking place because of mob threats of violence. This makes Ted Cruz ‘s spineless rejoinder to the violent demonstrations in Chicago so galling to me.
Some years ago I wrote here of my contempt for conservatives who flee the forum for fear of getting their spotlessly white togas spattered with mud and blood when their colleagues are being savaged by liars and thugs. This week my White Toga award goes to Ted Cruz. As thousands of rent a mobs from Soros funded Move On, the White House approved Black Lives Matters fabulist race baiters, and Bernie Sanders fans mobbed and threatened the thousands of people who’d waited in lines for hours to attend a rally in Chicago for Donald Trump. Even Obama pal and admitted terrorist Bill Ayers, doubtless reliving his “glory days” as a Weatherman was there cheering the mayhem on:

Did Ted Cruz criticize this effort to deny thousands of people their right to free speech and assembly or the violent nature of the demonstration? No, he feebly offered up this on Fox News’s The Kelly File: "A campaign bears responsibility for creating an environment when the candidate urges supporters to engage in physical violence."
Did he seriously believe that the effort to shut down the rally was occasioned by anything but Trump’s political positions? Where was he in 1968 when the far left pulled the same kind of thug action in the same city? Did he not notice Soros’ funding of Move On and Black Lives Matter or his funding of opposition to Trump and mobilization of Latinos opposed to Trump’s immigration stance...?

Up until this most recent stunt, I would have likely took a shot and voted for him in the general. Now...not a chance. I hope he loses his senate seat.

In February Jedidiah Brown made headlines when he tried to chain lock the front door of Chicago PD from the outside.
He’s a ‘colorful’ fellow to say the least...very active on social media.
Cruz made a purely political calculation and attacked Trump rather than attacking the progressives who instigated the violence. His political instincts were profoundly wrong.
Had Cruz shown support for his fellow Republican he would have bolstered his position in the race. By attacking instead he has ended his campaign. I was enthusiastic about Cruz, but he is now dead to me.
This was a revealing moment, and it revealed the worst aspects of Ted Cruz. While Bernie and Hillary are the enemies, and Cruz attacks his own side. How shameful...
Did you notice how FOX was very proud to video the entire room. They used every photo trick to make it look like a huge crowd.
Never once will the media pan an arena filled with Trump supporters.

Obviously a plan was hatched in the Sea Island Ga meeting two weeks ago.
The goal was to take Trump’s rhetoric urging his supporters to defend themselves, and morph it into a narrative of Trump incitement to violence.
First, you had to have violence. Which is where Hillary comes in. Her operatives were in Sea Island also, and were in the know. For Hillary a riot at a Trump rally instigated by Bernie supporters is a two-fer.
Hillary. Rahm. Obama.. Chicago .Soros. David Brock. Rove. Fox News. All against Trump. Bernie the patsy. How convenient.
The Hillary camp had the most to gain, but also the three amigos, now clearly carrying the GOPe banner.
I would bet most of the Bernie sign carriers in Chicago were actually Hillary-paid operatives.
Cruz post-Chicago comments were contra-instinctive, even for him. His knee-jerk reaction is generally to protect free speech and freedom of assembly. He knows what went on there. His comments were planned by the anti-Trump cabal, and apparently, he’s a team player. Trump HAD to be blamed. Bernie HAD to be blamed, or the plan wouldn’t work.

This part is true. Cruz created an environment where dirty tricks were acceptable. He also created an environment where Glenn Beck, while campaigning for Cruz, feels totally free to call Trump a “racist”, “Hitler” and Trump supporters “brownshirts”. If Cruz was opposed to such talk, he would either send Beck home on the first bus or tell him to lay off the crazy talk.
We don’t need another foreign born presiden To!

You’d think with the population of the USA there would be at least a few to rise to the top
for the prsidency who are born on the USA soil to citizens. Heck papa Cruz didn’t even
think enough of the USA to become a citizen until 2005. Cruz’s mom has had two children one
born in England and the other in Canada.

Worth watching to see if Cruz has to declare an in-kind contribution for Beck’s work.
He can drop his entire advertizing budget at this point.
