Here is what Cruz has been doing. Curious if he doubles down today

Cruz is trying the old “she deserved to get raped because she wears short skirts” Defense. Cruz is saying Yes what was done was wrong BUT it is justified because the victim...

Anyone not welded at the hip to a candidate knows that is exactly what this is and will hold Cruz accountable

There was such an opportunity here for Cruz and he totally blew it.

Can you imagine what the result would of been if Cruz had come out and supported Trump and soundly castigated the media and the rioters? If he had made a full strength unabashed defense of the Constitutional principals of Free Speech and Free Assembly?

But instead he weaseled.

And inevitably some liberals would move into Southern Illinois name of a conservative state because they could not stand their own stench and start over spoiling their new home.

For sure, the on the scene intel we got from a freeper who was there was priceless.He told how the cops worked ever so slowly to rid the place of tormentors taking one at a time out with all eight police going together to make sure the chaos endured as long as possible. It was a hit from the adm. on down to rhambo to the local Chicago police no doubt.

It explains just why I am so skeptical of any Republican politician, despite how conservative he/she claims to be.

Having said that, Cruz is very conservative on most things, EXCEPT illegal immigration (Last year’s Teddy Bears from Ted), H-1B rise by 400% and the TPP. So I would not throw out the baby with the bathwater, so to speak.

But when an easy slam dunk issue like the Chicago riots presented Ted Cruz plays politics instead like a standard issue GOPE poltican.

If he is willing to cave to the false media meme rather then defend unreservedly defend Constitutional Principals of Free Speech and Free Assembly, what else is he willing to cave on when the pressure is on?
