Heh, heh. I was thinking the same thing. Too many innocents around, though. I don't think Trump would take a chance on harming any of his followers.

He probably would've just punched the lipstick off the guy.

“Your post makes no sense.”

Since my original post was #18, and you’re the first to object, I’d say you’re having trouble relating it to Cruz’s comments last night.

I heard him on Fox this morning. Disgraceful.

So was Cavuto, for that matter.

Though that kick-butt Milwaukee sheriff (David Clark, is that right?) made them both look like the pathetic charlatans they are.

In the light of recent developments, I’ve had to change my thinking and my tagline.

Old: Trump and/or Cruz, it’s all good.

New is below...

It was obvious there was not enough security (police etc) in Chicago. And then the police were saying don’t harass the protesters. It was right for Trump to cancel. If 200 protesters would have stormed the stage, there would not be enough secret service to handle it and obviously CPD don’t give a damn.

"The responsibility for that lies with protesters, who took violence into their own hands. But in any campaign, responsibility starts at the top. Any candidate is responsible for the culture of a campaign. And when you have a campaign that disrespects the voters, when you have a campaign that affirmatively encourages violence, when you have a campaign that is facing allegations of physical violence against members of the press, you create an environment that only encourages this sort of nasty discord," Cruz said, citing an event in Florida that had already led to a criminal complaint, but not heretofore been mentioned by a rival candidate.

"But I think a campaign bears responsibility for creating an environment when the candidate urges supporters to engage in physical violence, to punch people in the face," said Cruz. "The predictable consequence of that is that it escalates, and today is unlikely to be the last such instance. We saw, earlier today, in St. Louis, over 30 arrested. That’s not how our politics should occur. You know, the city of Chicago in 1968 saw some ugly days, when politics descended into hatred and incivility and even violence. It is my hope that in 2016 we can appeal to our better angels, to avoid going down that road once again."

It no longer matters what he says. The community organizers have set the tone and the hatred and rancor will continue to grow. Truth has no place in the discussion with thses assclowns. And, like some others, I don’t want this kind of behavior at either sides gatherings. But, charging someone with inciting a riot would racis’. Or something.

That is exactly what Obama and Clinton want.

Just like the “Sanders” protesters and the Ross County Democratic chairperson donning “TRUMP” t-shirts and giving Heil Hitler salutes, these folks are aiming to try and cause revolution by infiltrating conservative groups (including FR) hiding as sleepers, then provoking animosity from both sides to create and provoke riots.

After March 15 it will quiet down considerably if Trump wins Ohio and Florida. The agitators are pulling out all of the stops until then, and that includes assassination, both by character and by force.

I agree that things look bad, but a civil war? I suggest we take the energy that is going into the rhetoric and use it to elect conservative candidates.
