The AFL-CIO, the largest U.S. federation of labor unions, will launch digital attack ads targeting Republican front-runner Donald Trump next week as part of a multi-pronged effort to derail the New York billionaire's bid for the White House and dampen union workers' enthusiasm for him.
Officials at the AFL-CIO, an umbrella group of 56 unions representing 12.5 million workers, told Reuters the ads will depict Trump as anti-union, and will appear on Facebook and Twitter.
"Donald Trump has tapped into the very real and understandable anger of working people. But while he says he's with America's working people, when you look close, it's just hot air," AFL-CIO president Richard Trumka told Reuters. "Donald Trump is nothing but a house of cards, and once we educate people, the house of cards comes crashing down," he said.

The unions are seeing their members go for Trump and are losing their blue color base.

I hope the Right to Work Foundation ramps up their publicity to union members on how to get back the portion of their dues which is used for brazenly political purposes.
Donald Trump: I have tremendous support within unions

...
And I have tremendous support within unions, and I have tremendous support in areas where they dont have unions, he said. Like in Florida, they dont have very many unions. The workers love me.
...
He said that union groups are almost all aligned with Democrats, though he pointed out how the powerful Teamsters union put off endorsing in the presidential race last fall.
The men and women of the Teamsters are with Trump, he said. The workers of this country are going to vote for me, [because] Im going to create jobs.
The union members like Trump a lot more than they like the union bosses who take their money and sell out their jobs.
The AFL-CIO is now dominated by government unions. I suspect a number of private sector unions will endorse Trump. The Teamsters and United Mine Workers for two are tired of being bitches to the eco-Nazis.
This should cleave the membership from the pinky-ring front office thugs.

Now we know for SURE Trump is bringing MI, OH, and possibly PA into play.
Makes you wonder why Unions want to back illegals yet oppose bringing jobs back to the USA.
and the answer is: CLINTON is scared
They have that kind of money to throw around?
Wonder how their unemployed brothers and sisters feels about that.
The tatters of the once-mighty union goon movement will A) have its ass handed to it, and B) finish spinning down the floor drain over the next nine years.
AFL -CIO
( all f-ing a-holes - criminally indictable organization )
Too stupid and too late. Go squander millions in union dues......
this effort will boomerang and help Donald Trump.
Yeah because there are just millions of pro Union voters who go to Facebook and Twitter for poltical advice. This is what happens when yu have no accountability for the money you spend. You are foolish with it.
