Trump Triumphs At GOP Debate. Rivals And Moderators Can't Lay A Glove On Front-Runner
foxnews.com ^ | March 11 | Julie Roginsky

It only benefitted the front-runner.

Senators Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz and Governor John Kasich did their best to underscore their policy acumen and to highlight Donald Trump’s lack of substance.

It backfired.

Neither his opponents on stage nor the debate moderators laid a glove on Trump. When Trump repeatedly called Putin a “strong leader” without refusing to place a value judgment on his leadership, neither moderator Jake Tapper nor his opponents on stage pressed him. When Tapper asked Trump about his violence-inciting rhetoric at rallies, none of Trump’s opponents called him out for refusing to disavow it.

There is no bigger indicator that Trump’s opponents on stage were simply going through the motions. Trump spent the night running down the clock and the remaining candidates spent the night checking the boxes. For at least two of them, this was their last chance to distinguish themselves in advance of what will likely be the most crucial primary day of the cycle next Tuesday.

Rubio, in particular, seemed most chastened by his earlier decision to get in the gutter with Trump. Gone were the snide remarks about genitalia

Roginsky can pound sand. She plays up in her bio that she wad a poor repressed Jewish girl living in an intolerant USSR when her family migrated. Now she is a rich oppressive Socialist Jew screwing with Conservatives. Truck her.

And Donald has the good nature to be able to laugh at himself. He will bring back satiric comedy which is so important to setting the national mood.

Here’s a funny one:

There’s another funny one related to his hair that is actually anti-Trump, but the comedians don’t realize they are presenting Trump haters as pigs. So it backfires on them without their knowing. Here it is:

Drudge has a “hard-core bias toward Cruz?” Who knew? I read it all day and it must have slipped by me. And here as a low information un-engaged Trump supporter I thought Drudge was the only place to find pro Trump stuff. Wow I guess I don’t get it.

Here’s my take on it:

The GOP elites are realizing that there is virtually no way to stop Trump, they know that the total delegates needed to lock up the nomination is within his grasp and only a 180 degree turn around in political fortunes for Trump could change that.

And they also know that if they attempted any sort of convention shenanigans to install one of their GOPe owned-and-operated candidates, that it would result in such revolt and chaos that Trump might not even have to form a third party, the sheer outrage from voters could possibly propel him to the Presidency based on write in votes alone (indulging in a bit of rhetorical speculation to be sure, but make no mistake about it - the voters are pissed off).

So what do they do to stop Trump?

There is only one way, and that is to quietly and below the radar, send the word out to the Rick Wilsons and Glenn Becks of the political world, that perhaps it’s time for Trump to meet the same fate as another populist did, the late Huey Long of Louisiana. It is not hyperbole to suggest that had Long not been assassinated in 1935, he would have a very good shot at ending FDR’s time in the White House the following year.

Trump had better ramp up his security as I see it because there just might be more of a threat from within, than from without.

Funny you should mention H. Long(1935).

That same thought came to mind to me yesterday as I was driving, as I was musing how history can turn in a moment.

I am so filled with hope for America and the future as long as Trump wins, and there is no question there is a lot of money and power arrayed against him.

Prayer is our most potent weapon.

Let no instrument formed against him prosper.

You my grandfather’s cab business went bankrupt in the 1930s. Apparently in a depression everyone walks. He explained the GD many times to us grand kids ad nauseum over and over. He was an expert having almost been ruined by it. He never mentioned trade once as a cause or having anything to do with the Great Depression.

“The Cruz spam all came from Delaware. Trump clear win in all other states. #drudgepoll”

Shocked that Cruz supporters would cram a poll to manufacture support for there guy. Must be a bad apple. I mean Ted has run the most honest and transparent campaign in history, right?

I have posted concerns as well about how someone might try to assassinate Donald.

He has also called for auditing the Fed. He has all the enemies that JFK had. My only solace is that security has improved since 1963 (JFK) and 1981 (RR).

His son Eric also seems on the ball in terms of keeping an eye on people involved in his security.

Still, we as his supporters should be vigilant.

When I saw that I knew he was fished.

fished=finished

"fished" works, as in "sleeping with the fishes!"

Jackie Gleason was truly one of the very great ones. Would love to see that type of talent return to the national stage.

It did not cause it but made it somewhat worse.
After our trading partners retaliated, exports fell more than imports.

Look at on you tube if you want. He said it caused the great depression. None of the usual Free Traitor™ nuance.

That is absurd-Smoot Hawley did not cause the Great Depression. Clearly, the decline in the money supply and the FED’s inaction during the times of bank failures made
the great recession into the Great Depression

Interesting development yesterday, where thousands of mass duplicate votes on the 'Drudge Poll' originated from this island (Sea Island) off Georgia. Below is the FR thread with some of the salient posts
**DRUDGE POLL** WHO WON THE 12TH REPUBLICAN DEBATE '16?

I did some more analysis. Besides Shanghai, like I said, I noticed a big "data dump" coming in from a small island off of Georgia, which via a Palo Alto Firewall got over to Delaware.
When mapping this out, I found it here:

You two fine fellow FReepers affirm to me that old saying about 'great minds thinking alike' ... we (meaning We The People of the United States) are faced with unseen or barely seen enemies of our Republic and our Constitution, and they have nearly endless resources they can draw upon to snuff out those who they deem to be a threat to their political and economic agendas. Their goal is no different than the goal of the former politburo in the old Soviet Union, to enslave humanity, make them indentured servants to the powers that be, and eliminate free thought, to be replaced with unquestioned subservience.

I believe that Thomas Jefferson's words about 'watering the Tree of Liberty with the blood of patriots and tyrants' will be manifested within our lifetimes.

Speaking of Huey Long, if you've never seen the actor John Goodman's portrayal of the 'Kingfish' in the film of the same name (1995), it is well worth seeing:
