Ted Cruz, A Bush By Another Name
Daily Caller ^ | 3/10/16 | Roger Stone

Posted on 03/10/2016 7:50:03 AM PST by jimbo123

Neil Bush, the son of President George H. W. Bush, who defrauded U.S. taxpayers out of $1.5 billion dollars in the savings and loan scam, and later peddled influence for the Chinese government, (who plied him with Chinese prostitutes) has formally endorsed Senator Ted Cruz for president. You can’t make this stuff up.

This endorsement says much. Since the other, more politically involved Bush men have a distinct dislike for Mr. Cruz, I suppose Neil Bush is better than no Bush. Let’s look at the wonderful memories that Neil Bush has left us with. First there is is that little banking charade he steered us into back in 1985.

Back in 1981, Neil Bush was director of Silverado Savings and Loan in Denver, Colorado. Neil was very generous, lending millions to pals Kenneth Good and William Walters. The $250 million in loans went into default, S.S. & L. went bankrupt and had to be seized by the Feds. Neil Bush walked away with a cool $100,000 personal loan which he never paid back. Documents released by the Office of Thrift Supervision detailed the conflict of interest charges against Neil. Federal regulators described him as “unqualified, and untrained” to be a director of a financial institution.

It seems Neil miscalculated just how much he knew about directing a mega financial institution like Silverado Savings and Loan. By the summer of 1990, the cost of bailing out the savings and loan industry would cost at least $500 billion! Neil’s Silverado adventure cost U.S. taxpayers $1.5 billion.

Did Trump add David Duke to his fundraising operation?

Wow, must have missed that.

OK 2 points and please look at the facts.
1. Duke did not endorse or support him .
2. he never hired Duke unlike cruz hiring a Bush.

Please stick to the facts, instead of talking points. It is just as bad when I see the establishment saying Trump loves poorly educated when in fact he stated he loves the old, the young, the poorly educated, the highly educated.

the problem with the establishment is that they are fighting tooth and nail for their open borders and they know they cannot control him.

I see a reference to the SandL disaster of the 80s. I also recall another prominent GOPe involved in a separate one, A Senator named McCain who barely skipped being indicted for his assistance to a guy named Keeting.

Yes Trump has taken in money from KKK supporters. So that means he approves of their message now, by your broken logic.

I take the Reagan approach. Those who endorse are signing on to the message of the nominee...not the other way around.

I prefer to look at the actual facts, and then decide on the preponderance of the evidence. I even read the National Review articles, but found them long on emotion and short of significant facts.

In this case the evidence supports the idea that Ted Cruz has been co-opted by the Bush side of the Establishment. In addition, the original intent of “natural born Citizen” has not changed. It still means your father and you mother have to be citizens when you are born.

1) Duke is “endorsing” him. Duke knows he can’t fully endorse because it will backfire, but look at what he said. Since you want to look at the poorly educated that Trump loves so much.

2) Trump has hired many in the mafia and did business with them...so by your logic he’s Mafioso too. Ok got it! He also gave money to Hillary—so he’s also a Hillary supporter. Thanks for admitting that to everyone.

Now I know why Trump loves the poorly educated ;-)

Neil Bush, younger brother of President Bush, detailed lucrative business deals and admitted to engaging in sex romps with women in Asia in a deposition taken in March as part of his divorce from now ex-wife Sharon Bush.

http://www.cnn.com/2003/ALLPOLITICS/11/25/bush.brother.reut/

According to legal documents disclosed Tuesday, Sharon Bush’s lawyers questioned Neil Bush closely about the deals, especially a contract with Grace Semiconductor Manufacturing Corp., a firm backed by Jiang Mianheng, the son of former Chinese President Jiang Zemin, that would pay him $2 million in stock over five years.

How has Cruz been co-opted? What policy stand has he taken to suggest he is becoming a liberal like Trump and Bush?

The hundreds of millions of dollars that Tepid Ted is accepting are for what other than to buy influence? That’s bribery in my book. Cruz has accepted hundreds of millions of dollars and owes allegiance to the contributors of those dollars. He’s bought and paid for by the GOPe.

It pains me but you’re right. I voted for Cruz but he is just as slimy and in the mud as the rest of the GOP elitists. He has some of their same donors.
