If Levin was really honest, he would have endorsed Cruz right from the start. Instead, he repeatedly said he was endorsing noone, yet continually praised Cruz while railing against Trump and Rubio (others too). I’m glad he finally came clean, but he wasn’t fooling his low information listeners. (unwashed even)
Probably. But it all is what it is. Convictions and wishes fall hard. Disappointment comes unwillingly. It takes a while to go through the five stages of grief.
No, he did not fool me. I could tell he was in the tank for Cruz but for a while he did not trash Trump too badly. However, he had to endorse Cruz before it became too clear that Trump would win, after all, there is this small window where Cruz may be possible.
The real trick is whether Levin will stick with Cruz when it comes down to a bastardized convention in order to get his guy in. Be very careful Mark.
