GOP presidential candidate Ted Cruz tells The Brody File that the reason Donald Trump is performing well in the GOP race for president is because his voters are uninformed and not engaged in the process. Donald does well with voters who have relatively low information, who are not that engaged and who are angry and they see him as an angry voice. Where we are beating him is when voters get more engaged and they get more informed. Hunch: Im thinking Trump and his Silent Majority may push back on this just a bit dont you think? Lots to unpack here but for now, heres the clip.
Our interview was done Wednesday afternoon in Miami.

you switched to Trump too?
I did after I saw him act in the before the last debate
The only thing about Donald that I trust enough to vote for him is the fact that the left is calling him a racist.
Yep, sounds like a good way to get someone to vote for you later...insult their intelligence now!
I was for Cruz two week ago, then I went to the fence, but now I am for Trump, shame the other Cruz voters can’t wake up to who Cruz really is and how he is now with the establishment.
I guess some people just are stubborn or can’t admit they made the wrong choice and would rather dig deeper in the hole.
Both his NBC status at birth and his Canadian citizenship are material legal issues which need resolution in a federal court....
Actually I believe it is worse that Federal Court.
The last time we went through this with Obama the only ones that have “legal controlling authority” is Congress.
And it will occur when President of the Senate Biden approves the Electoral Votes just like Cheney did.
I see Dems complaining and Biden having to investigate this issue before he can approve the Electoral Votes.
Scary?
Cruz is as sleazy as they come.
He was able to hide it for awhile, not so much lately.
The new Ted Cruz strategy calling Trump supporters 'stupid' will yield the same results it did for him in high school. #DuctTape #Flagpole— Mike The Nuanced (@mikeliberation) March 10, 2016
There is a difference between poorly educated and low information.
Low Information?
Let’s see: I know I’ll never vote for a lying, arrogant, grease-ball...
that’s the extent of my knowledge relevant to Rafael.
Because
VOTER VIOLATION!
was aimed at informed and deliberate voters.
wow , just wow. You really are an elitist who think he is better than those who have a different view to you,.
Have a frigging word with yourself and get off your high box
It doesn’t take an advanced degree to find Calgary, Alberta on the map, and establish that it is in Canada, and was in Canada at the time of the Senator’s birth there.
And it doesn’t take an attorney to establish that there has never been an individual born outside the US, elected President.
Any good originalist scholar of the Constitution would reach the conclusion that persons born out side the boundaries of the United States, were not intended to be eligible for election as president.
If a person born outside the US, wishing to run for election to be president, retained sound counsel, they would inform said prospective candidate he was not eligible.
If said prospective candidate retained himself to also be his own Constitutional lawyer, he would have a fool for a client and a fool for a lawyer.
This is also how I feel. Trump to me is the beginning of America’s recovery, not the whole enchilada.
There’s almost an epidemic on FR of what you also touched on - all-or-nothing thinking, which has actually been shown to be cynically dysfunctional thinking.
see post 40 for a cruz voter saying the same thing as his master.
“There is a difference between poorly educated and low information.”
Not for a Princeton/Harvard lawyer.
“Hes sounding more like Romney/Hitlery now.”
Peel the wallpaper off of him and his a lot like those two hacks.
Angry = bitter.
Low information = bible clingers.
Thanks Lyin’ Ted, that should make the difference in Ohio and other important primaries.
He did the same exact thing with the Gang of 8 bill.
If Cruz wants a step stool to get up on that cross, there’s a spare one in my coat closet he can borrow.
