Hillary really could lose to Trump: Her weakness with the working class is Trump’s strength

Clinton will have a hard time winning over voters fed up with corporate-friendly trade deals

Bernie Sanders' win in Michigan on Tuesday night was truly startling. Behind by an average of 20 points in nearly every pre-election poll, the Vermont senator rallied a diverse cross-section of voters on his way to a narrow - but revealing - victory.

The votes are still being counted, but it appears Sanders will gain 3 to 5 more delegates in Michigan than Clinton. Given the expectations, this is quite the achievement for Sanders. The results in Mississippi were far less surprising but equally important: Clinton won by a whopping margin of 66 points - 82 percent to 16 percent. That means she's likely to earn close to 28 more delegates than Sanders, extending her already sizable lead.

There are two ways to interpret the Michigan results if you're a Democrat. On the one hand, Sanders supporters can see the victory as a narrative-altering event, something that changes our perception of what's possible moving forward. Clinton has succeeded thus far thanks to her Southern firewall and her enormous advantage over Sanders with minority voters.

But Michigan suggests that Sanders has a much broader appeal in non-Southern states with diverse populations. Sanders did well with his typical demographics in Michigan, but he also won white women by five points and non-college-educated whites by 17 points....

All the young sluts who vote with their vajayjays, are tuning out the old, fat, boring, rich, spoiled rotten Hillary.

All the white men are going for Trump.

Buh-bye, cankles!

Hillary Clinton’s strength in the Southern primaries is a combination of black voters and government workers.

That list we saw on the forum today of payouts for Mrs. Bill Clinton and Bill Clinton should make a lot of folks furious.

Those are two of the biggest grifters in world history.

Uhm, you DO know women outnumber men, right?

I'm all behind Trump, but I'm not taking women whose husband is the State for granted.

If you look at the last 50 years of elections it seems apparent that it’s not just what percentage a specific group is in the general electorate, but at least equally important is what percentage of that group actually turns out to vote. Women have turned out to vote in higher percentages recently, but no group is near 100%, or even 70% turnout. So there is a tremendous amount of variability at play dependent upon who actually goes out and votes.

The election merely demonstrated which percentage of Michigan voters were willing to accommodate either a communist or felon as the country’s president. Responsible voters either voted in the Republican primary or, if registered dem, stayed home.

Michigan was very telling.

More people voted republican, Trump garnered almost as many votes as Hillary, despite having 3 other pubbies to compete against.

Hillary is a weak candidate, if the GOPe doesn’t screw it all up, Trump will destroy her.

If Hillary were young and attractive she might have more appeal to females and males, like a celebrity. I think cankles only appeals to those loud, old lesbians like herself. Even many blacks find ber condescending. I love to ask if they googled ber black face routine.

Exactly.
That is why the Democrats are so wedded to the ploy of fanning the flames of racial division - the Nation be damned. They have a group that consistently votes around 95% for their party - so they do what they can to motivate this Group by portraying Republicans (and America - outside their Democrat Politician defenders) as open, or closeted, KKK members.
Every election cycle, the same Nation destructive theme.

I looked at voter breakdown for MI and saw Repubs had more total votes then Dems, this in a deep blue state that has to have way more registered Dems then Repubs. My take is blue collar dems went to Trump and Bernie, while the rabid ultra liberals also went to Bernie. This left a gaping hole in Hiltery’s base so her 20pt poll margin evaporated overnight. In a general election of Trump vs Hitlery, this will repeat. Blue collar dems will go to Trump, but the millenials and ultra liberals that supported Bernie will probably be so turned off by the DNC stacking the deck against Bernie, that many won’t vote at all. To me, this means lots of blue/purple states in play for Trump.

Oh, absolutely, but you know what they say about all of life being a bell curve.

Trump will definitely have to find a way of appealing to a critical mass of women. And all things being equal, that critical mass is going to have to be larger than the group voting their vajayjays.

Well the polls also said she would beat Bern by double digits in MI.
