Russia Threatens Invasion If North Korea Nuclear Rhetoric Continues
Daily Caller ^ | 03/09/16 | Russ Read

North Korea’s provocative nuclear rhetoric has gotten so bad even the Kremlin has come out against the hermit kingdom, warning continued nuclear threats could justify an invasion.

The warning was issued in the form of a written statement from the Russian foreign ministry. It follows North Korea’s threat it would engage in a “preemptive and offensive nuclear strike” in reaction to the start of joint U.S.-South Korean war games Monday.

“We consider it to be absolutely impermissible to make public statements containing threats to deliver some ‘preventive nuclear strikes’ against opponents,” said the statement, as translated by the Russian TASS news agency. “Pyongyang should be aware of the fact that in this way the DPRK [North Korea] will become fully opposed to the international community and will create international legal grounds for using military force against itself in accordance with the right of a state to self-defense enshrined in the United Nations Charter.”

Well, so far Nork only has China, the United States, and Russia pissed at it. Other than them, the world is its friend.

Russia and NK share a short border. I am not sure if the terrain is suitable for moving larger numbers of troops, but they do share a border.

The border is a major river with just a single bridge connecting NK with Russia. But no military force is gonna go that route without approval from China.

Now that is very interesting. I wonder how many written warnings they get before . . . and I wonder how the Chinese will react.

Why would approval from China be required? While I am certain China would get involved I don’t think it is the route that would concern them.

Not to worry. Lil Kim can whup them all. His Generals have assured him of that-under pain of death to say otherwise.

Logistics is the key.
The Russian aircraft can’t reach North Korea - not enough range and they’d have to fly over China. They don’t have any operational CVs, either. So, no air dominance or even air support. The ancient Soviet hardware remains viable (at least until they run into Soviet navy SAMs). But this rules out air assualts.
The Norks have nukes, so getting a fleet a close to their coast is potentially dangerous (suicide sub attack is the most likely delivery method). Also, the Sov, er, Russians don’t have enough amphibious capability to land a viable invasion force.
If you can’t move your forces into the enemy’s country, you can’t really invade them.

There’s a big difference between “military force” and “invasion”, a difference the writer doesn’t understand.

I should have looked at a map. Sorry.
If they share a border, then there is a rail link through there.
If there is a rail link, they CAN invade.

I’m wrong.
The Sov, er, Russians have a border with NK. That means they can invade and might be able to sustain it as long as their rail line isn’t cut... And they will have air dominance since they won’t have to fly over China.

China and Russia need to take care of the Norks. Its their backyard and not our problem. Everyone in the world would be better off if they were gone. The new UN sanctions signal to me they may be seriously thinking about taking them out.

Straight-up, I’m not believing this story. I honestly don’t know how legit the Daily Caller is, but they’re the only news agency running with this story. Infowars has picked it up, but they’re an idiotic conspiracy/9-11-Truther outfit. If they’re running with it, it’s probably crap.

China and Russia suddenly looking at North Korea as if to say “Our world would be a lot simpler if you were gone”.

Which is why I don't believe this story. North Korea was created by the communists to be a troublemaker and do crazy things that a "respectable" country like USSR/Russia and China would never get away with. North Korea is a crazy rogue country but when the big-communists say sh--, they squat.

Go to Google and type ,

“Russia North Korea”

hit enter and then left click at the top “News”. You will find over 70 stories world wide. On this. What MSNBC, CBS, NBC, ABC, CNN and Fox News did not tell you???

When you do this on Google it will give you latest news concerning Russia and China. If you go off the Google search alone then it will show you older articles.

You will see it in the news around the world, and just not in the U.S. so called Main Stream Media. Ever wonder why Rush Limbaugh and Michael Savage are so popular? It’s because news junkies easily recognize the so called main stream news intentionally lies and deceives. Only it dumb zombies still believe them.

Anyhow, my point being is it’s quick and easy to find out who is telling the truth and who is lying by doing your own research instead of getting caught up in emotional so called main stream media dogma.

If you are not sure who is telling you the truth, then wait and see what happens. Time always tells.

One thing for sure I’ve caught the main stream media in so many lies that I can’t tell when they are telling me the truth. I want to believe them, but the lie and tell half truths so much they can no longer be trusted as a legitnent source.

If you seek the truth, then you will find it.
