GOP establishment creeps toward Cruz
POLITICO ^ | March 9, 2016 | KATIE GLUECK

Republican elites are begrudgingly embracing Ted Cruz—and hanging Marco Rubio out to dry.

Panicked at Donald Trump’s dominance and dismayed by Rubio’s continued inability to do anything about it, some top Republican power brokers are turning to Cruz, putting aside their policy and personal misgivings to back the candidate they now openly label as their best hope to stop Trump’s GOP takeover.

“He seems to be the only guy who’s got some momentum, and is probably the best situated if there is anybody out there to beat Trump,” said Austin Barbour, a prominent Mississippi-based GOP operative. “That’s why there are many people like me—Ted Cruz wouldn’t have been our first choice, but as we go through the process, we’re reevaluating our vote, and he seems to be the guy at the top of the list.”

“Most people now think Ted’s the best vehicle to defeat Trump,” said Charles C. Foster, a Bush family loyalist from Houston who served on Jeb Bush’s national finance team. “I would say some are enthusiastic for Ted, some are just saying, ‘OK, Ted’s not my first choice, but anyone that can beat Trump, I’ll support.’”

In case you missed the memo, Jim asked we stop with the name calling and insults.

Cruz is the ultimate GOP insider, of the 6 top GOP donors Cruz has 4, most of his campaign finance team worked with Jeb’s campaign.

Cruz worked for Bush. His with, well shes part of the movement to create an America that includes Central and South America as part of the US, similar to the EU.

But you probably already know that

We have to destroy the Republican Party in order to save it

The Republican Party has made every attempt to destroy itself by lying to its constituents. That's the worst sin a politician can make, and ba$tards like turtle, weeper and widows peak are poster-child-liars.

With Trump as POTUS, FLOTUS will mean Floozy Of The United States.

‘Trump loses head to head against both Cruz AND Hillary according to the polls.’

I already addressed static thinking in a previous post.

A poll does not factor in dynamics.

1. Trump has hardly spent anything on ads yet.

2. Just a few tweets from Trump knocked Hillary on her back, spread eagle. [Not a pretty sight.]

3. Cruz lacks the guts to ban muslims or to go for the Clintons’ jugular. Trump was the one who weakened Hillary, not Cruz.

4. The dynamics of this primary are driven by Trump, not Cruz. Trump has caused a huge increase in GOP activity — up 40%, while the DNC primary turnout is down 35%.

2. namby-pamby cruise has already said jefferson blythes felonies are off the table.

Bill Clinton is a serial abuser of women. Ted Cruz should "go there." He should also point up any ties between the Clintons and Joe Biden, who is a genuine creepazoid with women and adolescent girls.

Try and think.

Who does more harm, a lady looking for a well-to-do man, or one wishing to harm an entire nation through evil new world order machinations?

It is true that Trump is no Reagan. I’ll give you that. Reagan won via an educational campaign that defined conservatism. Trump triangulates. But he is revolutionizing patriotic courage.

Waterboarding! Cruz refuses to even discuss it. Come on, you have to admit that we need to get tough.

problems with head to head polls in this case

1. There is no national election so if you don’t break it down by states the number is meaningless Trump for example, could lose California by a huge margin but win Ohio, NY and Florida close. Trump could easily win the electoral win without winning the popular vote

2.Polls make assumptions of turnout and cross over votes based upon previous elections. If the turnout model is wrong the poll is wrong. There is some evidence that those models may be wrong.

3. See the article above about secret Trump voters. This further throws the reliability of the polls into some doubt.

4. It is a loong way until November. PIAPS has never had to defend herself. Trump shut PIAPS up with two tweets in January. The demodogs are used to controlling the media and the overall narrative of the campaign. Trump has shown that he can wrestle the control of the narrative away from demodogs.

5 Statistical models based upon history and sociological data that have predicted every presidential winner since 1960 show a Trump win.

6. The polls you mention show a very close race between Trump and PIAPS it isn’t like she is beating him by 20 or 39 points. A lot can happen to change that

7. Hillary may very well abandon the campaign because she will be in jail

Lol, you really think they’ll seat Cruz, now that’s funny.

Let me temind you of a quote that Rush spoke about on the air the other day.

Yeb Bush said “I will lose the primary but win the General”

Well he has lost the primary, now he gets the nomination at the convention.

“Cruz was stopping ‘comprehensive immigration reform’ back when Trump was firing Dennis Rodman on Celebrity Apprentice.”

The old “poison pill” argument. Rubio also says he was fighting immigration reform by joining the Gang of Eight. I suppose by Cruz joining the Gang of Eight now, what he is really doing is putting the “poison pill” in their immigration reform money they are giving him. Then he can say he was fighting immigration reform back when Trump was winning the Republican nomination in order to stop Trump who is supported by the comprehensive immigration control people who would have given the money to Trump if not for the Cruz poison pill of taking their money instead, “pure genius”.

‘Well, at least Mrs Cruz ain’t a porn star like Trump’s bimbo gold digger.’

I would take that over a phony drama queen.

“I have liquidated my assets to run for senate.”

Great dramatic moment. And a lie.

“I have no health insurance as I stand here today.”

Great dramatic moment. And a lie.

Cruz has a 97% Conservative Review Liberty Score and successfully defended the 2nd Amendment, the Cross and the Ten Commandments before the Supreme Court.
He is TEA Party pedigree who had a key role in the TEA Party landslides of 2014.
I could go on but I think I will give you a turn.
What has “born with a silver spoon in his mouth” Donald Trump actually DONE? What is his RECORD? To back up his TALK.
Just one single piece of EVIDENCE that shows he will restore America to it’s CONSTITUTIONAL roots will do.
